Jak 4 to be revealed soon

Back in October a rumor surfaced saying we will see an Uncharted 2 announcement on VGC witch a teaser trailer showing Nathan in the snow. They also mentioned another that Uncharted 2 wouldn't be the only Naughty Dog announcement. The first one was the best one IMO, then 2 was bad (I didn't like it) but 3 redeemed the series for me a bit.

I prefered it when there were no guns in and was more of a platformer

I love the Jak games so much. For a while I thought I was perfectly fine with the trilogy ending the way it did - all three were awesome, and the ending of the third was funny as hell. But now, I'm ready for a new Jak dammit! It's to good of a series to be forgotten.

Naughty Dog have already confirmed that they will be using the Uncharted engine for Jax 4 some time ago...

That same article that you speak of also said that they were working on a game BEFORE Uncharted 2. I wouldn't be surprised if the new Jak was it. If it was, expect it to release before Uncharted 2.

Jak and Daxter was one of my favorite action adventure platform games on the PS2, and I've been craving for a PS3 sequel.

And I hope that it's another full fledged Jak game, not just a downloadable PSN title.

21 - I played the first Jak & Daxter on my PS2 and it was a very good game. I did'nt get to play parts 2 and 3 though, I just did'nt get around to it.

I'm real glad to hear this news about a possible Jak title on the PS3. Jak is just the type of platformer that I like, it had everything a plaformer should have, combat, acrobatics, weapons, enemies and nice envirnments with a variety of missons, puzzles and activities. Utilizing the power of the PS3, a new Jak game would have the potential to be something spectacular. I hope this is true.

Yet another disastrous release by the foolish executives at Sony, this title will be yet another critical and financial failure and it will fail to capture mindshare.

Every single misstep Sony makes is like music to my ears. The Xbox 360 is undoubtedly a true revolutionary home entertainment system, and this is reflected in its vastly superior lineup, graphics capabilities, feature set and value for money.

i thought the same till i seen the killzone beta on my mates ps3,160gb ps3 owner now and i don,t know much about jak but uncharted was bundled in the deal and its one of the best out there gameplay and graphics.since then resistance 2,motorstorm 2,mgs4 and i even have bought call of duty 5 for ps3 when it would of being for my 360.i didn,t think i would say this but zhuk my live service ain,t no better than the psn from a games point of veiw in fact when have we been able to play 32 to 60 players online.i still have problems connecting with gears 2 and thats what 10 players total and i,m paying 35 to 40 pounds for this.ps3 is a great bit of hardware and if killzone,mgs4,resistance2,unch arted etc is going to be the norm on ps3 then i,m more than happy with my purchase.

11 - PS3 is simply in another league than toybox! PS3 is where games are made and sincerely loved!

2009 looks incredible again for PS3 and 360 looks SAD. If 360 didn't have 3 price cuts in 08', they wouldn't dare brag about a damn thing! The games were critical flops (banjo, scene it, lips, too human, viva pinata 2) All 360 JRPG's sucked. Meanwhile critics loved PS3 in 08' with incredible reviews for Gran Turismo 5 pro. (lifelike graphic power), Metal Gear Solid 4 (GOTY/ decade), LittleBigPlanet (owns metacritic), Valkyria Chronicles (best JRPG this gen with White Knight soon).

wow PS3's future line-up owns 360 so badly it's not even funny anymore... it's just sad

sad that all you 360 fanboys thought Microsoft could maintain a reliance on 3rd parties to produce exclusive games for the 360... it's sad that you people thought MS didn't need a solid 1st party.... now what? BioShock, Dead Rising and probably ME are all moving to PS3... what's left for the 360... a load of DLC? enjoy playing more of GTA4 guys.. il be playing stratospherically awesome Killzone 2, GOW3, Uncharted: AT etc etc... amazing experiences
