Awesome. God the PSP rocks. Need to finish up the fantastic Jeanne D'Arc before this comes out.

Give Disgaea 2 a try if you haven't already. It's got a bit more strategy depth to it then Jeanne D'Arc which is a great game too.

Disgaea 2 was never released on PSP, you mean Disgaea Afternoon of Darkness (Disgaea 1 with alot of extra features). It's prob my fravorite game on PSP tied w/ FFVII CC.

My PSP is a dream, but I am thinking about re-buying a DS soon (lot of good RPGs coming out on it also).

Just finished FFVII Crisis Core two days ago...man the ending is amazing!

3.1 - Front Mission
Or Final Fantasy Tactics. Jean D'Arc is really easy to get into though.

Disgaea Afternoon of Darkness is really easy and has so much extra play through that you could just be "learning" and at same time leveling say your weapons.

I would say in Easy order tho... Jean D Arc > Disgaea > FF Tactics

Just my opinion, but all are amazing and I own all (if that says anything).

4 - Its about time...
...Someone announced SOMETHING for the PSP. Sega should bring some of the great Dreamcast games to the PSP----I'd love to play Skies of Arcadia OR Power Stone at work.

*The king of hearts is the only king without a moustache. Crazy, huh?

Agreed. Also just today, PSP has gotten 3 new games announced with updates on other already announced titles.

Patapon 2
Loco roco 2
Phatasy Star
Garnet Chronicle

And the best part about all this is that, E3 has not even started yet.

I so would love Skies of Arcadia to come out on the PSP or a Skies of Arcadia 2 game. Also you can buy Powerstone for the PSP. It comes with both one and two. I so would love to see Capcom make a new Powerstone game.

There's been a bit of a Renaissance for the PSP in Japan due to MH sales on PSP when it came out a few months back. I wonder if that has publishers gearing up for more PSP games in '09 and beyond, especially JRPG style games.

8 - i find it funny
that the PSP is almost becoming the home for new RPG IPs.

dammit, send some of that stuff the PS3's way guys!

anyway, i'm always up for a new RPG (even though i don't have the time to play them all; i'm still playing FFXII, Rogue Galaxy, FF: Crisis Core, and more. not even halfway through beating them, and have invested over 20 hours in each so far) so i'll keep my eyes open on this one.

you know what i find funny?

a lot of developers/publishers, are announcing their titles NOW, this week, because when E3 hits, the gaming industry at large will be focused solely on Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony, and their various press conferences and surprises.

i almost feel sorry for the other devs/publishers out there, who will be overlooked for the "big dogs." that was always my problem with E3 since it began: the gaming media chooses what we see and don't see, and often, they focus on the big titles, i mean, how many times was Beyond Good and Evil on the cover of the various gaming magazines back then? now how many of the magazine outlets boasted covers of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metal Gear Solid 3, Resident Evil 4, etc, etc?

then the media will have a little paragraph or blurb on the last day of the event with a header saying "In case you missed..." well, no sh*t we missed those games, you @ssholes! you didn't bother to COVER THEM FOR THREE FRICKING DAYS!! IT'S NOT LIKE MOST OF US CAN JUST UP AND GO TO E3 AND CHECK OUT THE GAMES OURSELVES, SO WE RELY ON YOU DOUCHES TO BRING US THE GOODS!! *ahem* sorry, but that just grinds my gears.

anyway (and on topic!), this game looks nice. i like the sprites figures instead of polygons. it's on my "watch list."

9 - Lets hope
It is a new version of Phantasy Star and not just an enhanced port. Either way, its good news that Sega is supporting the PSP.
