I actually didn't like Renegade Squadron on the PSP. It might have more to do with playing it on a handheld. The controls just didn't feel good to me. I might have a totally different opinion on a console though.

I loved the first and second!!! Hopefully Pandemic makes the game. (Will only be possible if EA and LucasArts make some kinda deal)

As much as I love established IPs like God of War and Timesplitters, I think it's great that developers are taking chances with these new titles because it allows them to try out new things and see whether or not it's worth doing again or as a one-time venture. I think it'd be a tragedy if the games market just went the way of the Madden series, but thankfully most have common sense to not just release the same thing over and over without improving a few things.
I thought Heavenly Sword was great, it had good graphics and great characters; Haze is worth checking out too...it flopped because it didn't meet expectations, sure, but I wouldn't write off the game just because of that reason. It's definitely better than some other shooters i've played this year *cough*Turok*Cough*.
In short, i'm in favor of new ideas, but I definitely wouldn't mind seeing all my older games on current-gen platforms.

Battlefront was great, I love the full scale battles. I'd always play that one map... with all the wookies... and sit on those big platforms as a storm trooper sniper and pick em all off. It was a blast(battlefront II btw). And nothing beat the music in Mos Eisley while owning it up with Chewy's guided missile.
And I'll never forget laughing so hard after the cyborg general guy said "Your screams are like music to my audio receptors!" Cracked me up.
Anyhow, can't wait to see this game. Hopefully it's being made by Pandemic. Err... wait.. EA bought them didn't they? :[ EA has ruined gaming for me...

12 - Battlefront 3!
I loved playing the older SWBF games on my PS2, I have fond memories of playing Battlefront II online as the Dark trooper and frying people with the lightning gun. I haven't played Renegade Squadron as i've lost my PSP, but I imagine it's as good as the previous games in the series.
On another note, you think this game is Free Radical's Top Secret LucasArts project? If it is, I wonder what they have in store for this one!

this will be amazing hopefully, especially over PSN and Xbox Live. I hope they keep the 3rd person view, i am sick and tired of first person shooters.
