Eurogamer compares the X360 and the PS3 versions of Burnout Paradise, Cars Mater-National, The Golden Compass, Beowulf and Ratatouille:

"After the unstoppable surge of cross-platform releases at the tail end of 2007, the frantic pace of game releases has thankfully died down as the New Year games lull kicks in. EuroGamer on Criterion: "Technically speaking, the team is untouchable"
And Burnout Paradise: "nobody else is managing to match what the UK-based developer is achieving in terms of the scale of this cross-platform masterpiece"
So why the heck did you give it 8/10!? Personally I agree with comments above and about the game, I think it deserved a 9/10.

As for the article, the only worthy game on this comparison is Burnout and it rocks on both platforms.

6.2 - Their one of the ones who actually do an alright job...
And they do it at regular intervals, not every other day like some sites. So if someone 'is' going to do it, I'd prefer eurogamer.

@Mkred: I agree, it is silly...8/10 games can't be contenders for game of the year (I'm not saying that its definitely going to be either) but Burnout is according to a lot of people, along with Devil May Cry, the games of the year so far.

Basically the 360 disc couldn't hold the addtional content so now the PS3 owners have to download stuff because EA wanted to keep the versions equal.

Wrong! This is talking about online play and how they are approaching DLC. Come on, this is EA, the king of milking DLC for every last penny with whatever release they can. Do you honestly believe that you would of gotten this stuff for free or that the game would of been larger? The game requires an HDD to play online, so as you can see if dev's need to require an HDD they can. Core/Arcade owners knew what they were buying and if they want to enjoy those games like Burnout Online they need to buy an HDD.

I could say the same thing about the Cell hurting the industry and use the Rockstar comments that they had to delay GTA because of the PS3.

I have seen this many times now, in many different movies and now these very good screenshots, the PS3 looks too white? I personally like the Xbox contrast more, but I guess you can change the contrast on the PS3....
