PSP Fanboy : Worldwide PSP releases for the week of December 7

Majed Athab writes "Dungeon Maker II: The Hidden War is coming to town this week. The first title didn't really penetrate the PSP crowd by much, but here's hoping for round two. It's the only title to release this week in North America, while Europe continues its empty Christmas. Sorry, but you know what this means right? Another plug for Oliver Twist like last week.

NA Games:

Dungeon Maker II: The Hidden War
EU Games:

No new releases
Asian Games:

echochrome: Mugen Kairou (PSP the Best)
Sarugetchu: SaruSaru Daisakusen (PSP the Best)
Zwei!!

Asia isn't doing too well for itself either. Two out of its three titles are PSP re-releases; however, Zwei!! does look great. Anyway, next week is the week folks. Look out for that."

Sorry but do you seriously think any 1 cares? Especially with Patapon 2 and LocoRoco 2 right around the corner. As far as new psp titles go these are the big hitters in December.

GamePyre: Dungeon Maker 2 Review

GamePyre writes:

"While the character customization is week from a visual perspective, from a gameplay perspective is original and interesting. I like the fact that what you eat affects your stats. I also like the fact that for the first time ever an RPG/hack-n-slash game finally realized that humanoids have more then just one finger on each hand. I've seen some girls with rings on their thumbs (I'm pretty sure they weren't magical), but I'm more then happy with this game's ability to let me equip 8 magical rings at once. Basically, if you don't really care about sound and the fact that your character looks like Harry Potter and if you have lots of free time, then Dungeon Maker II - The Hidden War would be a game that you might just get a kick out of. However, I'm going to mention this again just so you can't say that I did not warn you; this game is very slow moving."

Dungeon Maker II: The Hidden War Review at CheatCC

CheatCC says: "Dungeon Maker II: The Hidden War can be a habit-forming title. Gathering the necessary components and designing and tailoring dungeons is great fun, and running around slaying whatever decides to come live in them provides a whole different incentive to stick with it. While some areas of the game are hit-or-miss, the solid core gameplay is what will keep players coming back for more."

Diehard GameFAN: Dungeon Maker II Review

Wow. If you've ever wanted to experience the personification of redundancy, then by all means, go out and pick up Dungeon Maker II. You get the same monsters, same town layout, same quests, same progression, and same experience as the first game. You get a sidekick a few hours in, which is new, but this so called partner quickly eclipses your own character and the fact it is indestructible throws out any challenge the game would normally offer.

You'll have to get halfway through the game before you encounter any other new content, in DMII, so no one will fault you for putting this down (or in the trash) after suffering the biggest case of Déjà Vu in gaming history.
