1UP Previews: Smash Court Tennis 3

The game features the same 16 licensed tennis pros as the PSP version: eight men (including Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal) and eight women (including Maria Sharapova and Martina Hingis). While there are no officially licensed courts, the game replicates reasonable facsimiles of a lot of famous sites such as Wimbledon; also included are fun locations such as a Venetian court with gondoliers poling on by. There's an RPG-type system in the career mode by which you can level up your player's abilities, and when you get tired of playing regular tennis, you can check out some of the minigames. IGN played a match in the vertigo-inducing Dubai court (suspended between skyscrapers); players were pretty responsive, if on the slow side, but the control scheme is accessible enough for newbies while providing some depth for more serious players.
