Since the release of Duke Nukem 3D, it is never quiet about his successor Duke Nukem Forever. Beyond a couple teasertrailers is developer 3D Realms never materialised. Now it is finally time to learn more about a new Duke Nukem game.
A releaselist of a major distributor show that Duke Nukem in the third quarter of 2008 will be on the PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS. The game is defined - on both platforms - as a first person shooter.
Officially, we have still heard nothing, but it's not the first time that this distributor early information about gamereleases let loose. Earlier this year, we already learned that Mario Kart Wii on April 11 would come, and this was also true.
Any appearance of a Duke Nukem game on a portable video game is of course a surprise, because everyone thought that Duke Nukem Forever on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 would first appear. Perhaps Duke Nukem on the Nintendo DS and PSP a remake of Duke Nukem 3D in this way the public is ready to make way for the new great game Duke Nukem?
Previously 3D Realms has already indicated that we are interested to the old game Duke Nukem 3D over to the Xbox 360 and as a download to offer the Xbox Live Arcade. Here we have only recently heard little about.
Super Mario 64 DS was offered as a launch title for the Nintendo DS, a remake of the classic platform game with a few original tricks.
Needs more appreciation. I never had an N64 so this was what I played. Sure the Yoshi hat mechanic at first is a slog but you unlock Mario and the others for real and then it takes off. Personally I never had an issue with the controls. Can't forget the mini games and the 4 player rumble over download play.
Space opera fans deserve a chance to experience the vastness of Infinite Space, and Sega needs to make up for its mistake.
I still go back to Infinite Space from time to time. Probably the most underrated game I ever played.
Pac-Pix launched in 2005 as a Nintendo DS exclusive, and deserves to make a comeback on modern touchscreen devices.
I sure hope this is true and is a remake of the old Duke Nukem games. I would love to see how DN would play on the PSP & DS. I just hope if this is true it does not end up like DNF.
All work on DNF is on hold again because $DRealms have found some more money to milk from the already over milked Duke cash cow.
the link doesn't work
online mode please... and i mean Infestructure not that Ad-Hoc
I actually already have Duke 3D on my DS, but it has sh1t controls cuz of the guy who coded them. Just search Google if you don't believe me. You need an M3/R4 card (for roms).
But anyway, I will get Duke 3D wherever it is. Live Arcade or DS. Come get some.
