PlayStation Legion Review – God of War: Chains of Olympus

Playstation Legion reports:

''Out in the US for a while now but only recently released in Europe, God of War: Chains of Olympus has a lot to live up to. The God of War series has been one of the most celebrated franchises on the Playstation 2, generating high review scores and very good sales. However many games have suffered on their move to Sony's handheld device. Other popular franchises such as Call of Duty, Rainbow Six Vegas and GRAW for example, have never lived up to their console counterparts. Much of this is down to the lack of a second analogue stick, while efforts to compensate for this have been rather cumbersome. Another concern was whether the epic style of the previous God of War games could be transferred to the relatively small screen and smaller storage capacity of the UMD. Well, it's not perfect, but Chains of Olympus does a bloody good job and certainly raises questions of other developers.''
