Digital Life: Patapon Review

The 30-odd missions are varied, including food gathering, boss battles, escort duties, prison break-outs and sieges, and collecting items for your tribe is vital so you often must replay stages to get more loot. You can equip items such as shields, spears, axes, swords, bows, hammers and even utilise mounted troops. Environmental conditions such as gusty wind and desert sands can affect your tribesmen's abilities, but can be countered by performing miracles.

The music is fantastic: you will find yourself marching down the street chanting "Pata-pata-pata-pon" long after you have put away the PSP. You will also develop a strong bond with your Lilliputians, who pack an incredible amount of charisma in tiny frames.
