I love this mod thing.
Have been playing with Action Cam (3rd person) and Big Head (The better you do the bigger your head gets).
It's absolutely awesome.

To me UT3 is like playing Halo just in better graphics.
I don't get why this game is not selling well.

3.1 - it's called advertising.

Microsoft paid for Halo 3 to be advertised on soda bottles, wallets, shirts, back packs, hats, belts, posters, all over tv, etc.

I completely agree with you. When I first played UT3, one game came to mind and that is halo. UT3, I also believe has better sniping because it takes more skill because the lack of auto-aim *cough halo 2*. Halo is a really fun game with a lot to offer, but I think UT3 has just as much if not more but doesn't get the same level of popularity or publicity.

Epic just sold 3 more copies of ut3 after showing my FPS hating friends the 3PP mutater, err I mean the Action Cam. 14k kills later on CoD4 and I'm completely bored with it (blasphemy I know). Ty Epic and home-brewers everywhere - for bringing mods to the console crowd. Finally, a console FPS with some serious legs.

I just picked up a ps3 40gb this past weekend...mainly as a movie option. I picked up ut3 though as well. Ut championship was the first game I played on the xbox live service in 01 or 02. It was awsome played it for ever...still to this day bummed that it can't be played on my 360. ut3 does not disapoint it is awsome...i like it a lot more then halo 3 and will prolly sell halo back at this point. I have downloaded 3 new maps and 2 new mutators so far...gibalicious is great...makes a bloodtastic game even more bloody. when you get a close kill blood splatters all over the screen a la gears of war...I also downloaded the gears style action cam but have yet to try it...can't help but think when im in the menus however that im back to 02 with unreal championship because stats/leaderboards and just overall feel of menu sytem feels so clunky compared to 360 games...oh well sony has to start somewhere and ut3 is a great way, and its the gameplay that matters, not the menus and the game play rocks.

MOD support for consoles is brand new. Plus they just started releasing mods for the PS3 last week. Take it easy, it's still very fresh stuff.

you can only add one mod at a time. im ok with it just takes a little bit of time.

and why is everyone having trouble with this,its easy to install mods.

So how is the game now? I bought it about a month ago but been playing COD4 since. I really like UT3 but im waiting for a bit more support from Epic. Like mics for instance. Are the mods hard to install?

Yeah I downloaded all the maps last nights. Night in the Park, The Perfect Temple, Dome of Mud, and the Yard are maybe the best. I like all of them though. I haven't tried any of the mutators other than the Action Cam. This is by far my favorite FPS right now.
