Rumoured US Release Dates for Big Games

According to the nice people at The Sixth Axis, PS3 Vault has some rumoured release dates for the US for some of the juggernaut PS3 games coming out this year, including GTA IV, LittleBigPlanet, Killzone 2 and Devil May Cry 4.

What exactly comes in a special edition anyways? I always wondered about those games that you pay an extra 10 bucks but for what.

Thanks bro, your right. I had forgotten about those. I think the soundtrack and the book look cool but the key chain and the bag not so much. For me, I would keep the regular edition. Im sure there are some GTA hardcore fans that would enjoy the special edition.

Oh Boy how much does this gamesite love rumors. But i find it interesting because according to this website, Killzone little big planet and grant theft auto all releasing on the same month, and in like a week apart. If indeed this website tells the truth then there would be a conflict of interest among ps3 owners. This would not be in sony best interested two release three heavy hitter in the same week.

4.1 - LBP release

LBP is supposed to launch as a beta first, giving people the possibility of playing with it, finding bugs etc and create the worlds and stuff you can upload and share. When the full version is out (fall '08) you already have a lot of user created stuff available for download.

may finally have a solid date with April 1st.Gamestop also now says April 1st and they just changed it from March 3rd so its new.The date seems about right anyway.KZ2 and LBP are going to jump around though.

that not everybody has the same gaming tastes.

personally, i'd buy GTAIV, Killzone 2, *AND Little Big Planet if they were actually released in the same month.

*BUT, there are a *LOT of gamers that *AREN'T GTA fans. or Killzone fans, or Little Big Planet fans.

those people wouldn't care if GTA, Killzone, or Little Big Planet came out the same day.

not all of us like the same things. this is what leads to the ridiculous flame wars in practically *EVERY POST.

the problem is when the smaller games release around the same time, and they get overshadowed by the larger games (ie, Beyond Good and Evil released at the same time as a GTA game, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, a new Madden, and one of the Lord of the Rings games; either Two Towers or Return of the King, i can't remember. the results; well, *ONE of those games *ISN'T a franchise)

bah- US release dates dont help me since use British always have to wait much longer for games- anything coming out in the US is coming in out in Britain about 2-4 months later- and it annoys me but if KZ2 really is in april then that would way too early- i think they need more time than that to polish the game fully

yea this site already failed since.....sorry to say for all the fanboys of KZ2 and LBP...but GTA would slaughter them and everyone knows it would be stupid to release within a few weeks of one of the biggest games of the year.....plus I doubt we will see KZ2 befor fall..ya know ya godda hype it up at e3 etc

I feel GTA is more likely to be released around the date given. The other games just dont seem to likely. I think possible demos are possible if anything and it wouldnt be a bad because these games dont feel like they're quite ready to be released so just to get a small taste of whats to come. I could sure use a KZ2 demo, dont mind if its short but just to see it from my tv what it looks like. Lets just hope we get either one thing or the other. I dont think anyone was expecting any game released early anyway.
