with SSD HD update.. Well you can access your music collection at least :)

But you can see its possible to have access to XMB. The only difference is it doesn't show up album art.

Its great playing this game to your own music!

Well, each to their own. I enjoy downloading new demos so I can make an informed decision about future purchases. Further, one of my daughters is so young that a demo seems like a full game to her (she's only 3), so playing the Simpsons demo is as good as the retail version.

Of course, I also have all the new Crimbo games to play, but that doesn't mean I don't like new demos as well. There is no satisfying us in this house -- we always want more.

And, to make it clear, I'm not saying a demo is a substitute for a full game -- far from it (well, it can be for my daughter sometimes, but even she can get bored of the same level repeated /ad nauseum/); but it is an essential part of my gaming experience. I like to try before I buy, and more demos on PSN allows me to do this.

Oh, and as for Unreal, Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, and Ratchet and Clank in regards my household: The first isn't released here in the UK, but I have the rest, and have completed two of them (only Ratchet to go, assuming my daughter gives me five minutes with the game). I still want more demos, though.

Delaying your purchase of the game for that ONE reason(considering the online is the same, and yes, the PS3 version has in game chat), makes you an idiot.

And yes I have the game and a guitar hero 2 guitar so I will hold off and wait to get it on 360...See thats the nice thing about having both consoles...You can choose which one you prefer... Online is much easier on 360....IMO

You see THAT's more logical reasoning. Mention that will ya? :) If that wasn't there then I would say go get the game right now on PS3 if you couldn't find an Xbox version. It's all good.(Still, unfortunately, waiting for a GH3 patch, but currently I don't care because Guitar is broken for GH3).

I don't see how it's that much easier, but alright, it's your opinion. :)

Yeah singstar for my girlfriend was a mistake, she won't give me my PS3 back when I get home from work all she wants to do is sing. The thing is that this is just the ps2 pop version and not the ps3 version. I don't have a ps2 anymore so she only has my ps3 to play it on.

Really, if you don't have PS3 Singstar yet, I reckon your girlfriend will love you if you get it for her; it's a lot better than the PS2 equivalents. Yes, kinda more of the same, but the online goodies make it a quality purchase. Some of the user-created videos up already are freaking hilarious (and some are scarily good).

And, you never know, you may even find a song you'd like to sing (when no one else is around, of course).

That said, you may not like the amount of time it'll take the PS3 and girlfriend away from you, especially if you don't have a handy PSP.

I have the PSP but no games for it yet, I really don't have time to play games when I'm not near my ps3. I'm getting crisis core when it comes out that's for sure. I will admit I have sung a few songs with her and it's not all that bad. I don't care for when people are watching me but when we are alone I grab a mic and sing along. I can't get the PS3 version until next year. I hope they have better songs by that time. How is the Eye quality compared to the PS2 version? Does it look better and do more then the ps2 version?

I can't really compare the PS cameras as I've only had the current Eye; but, for what it's worth, I think it rocks. I use it for a bunch of games, and even for filming, and it does admirably.

As for Singstar songs: well, there is more on Singstore, so the number of songs in the original pack is somewhat moot. We've already downloaded 6 of them, and it seems very likely we will download more later; my wife is loving it.

And you and I appear to be in the same boat regarding playing the game: Yes, I'll play with her, but not with anyone else around to see.

Oh, and it's a crime not to use your PSP more as there are some very fine games indeed, and the whole connectivity to PS3 thing is really damned cool and useful. However, I'm not sure most of this is relevant to the thread, so I better get back on topic. So...

The Club demo still isn't in; I'm only at 71% downloaded so far -- man, it /is/ big! That said, Snakeball just arrived, so I'm off to check it out.

Well, it's there for me. Are you sure you checked your EU account, and not another (assuming you have more than one account)?

It's the second option under the 'Latest' tab, just after the Super Stardust Demo.

Also, as an aside, is it just me, or has the lag on the Store vanished of late? About a month ago the PSN store was really slow on Thursday download day, but I've not noticed that for a while now.
