Because Assassins creed is on it, and Ratchet and Clank and Warhawk isn't.

Hard to believe R&C or Warhawk didn't even get a mention at the end, both are great games worth a top 10, if not many top 5 lists. I think Creed should have been in the honorable list, if for no other reason than it was just so damned broken. I could forgive the repetitive nature of the game if so many obvious bugs weren't waiting around every corner. With several great exclusives not even getting a nod, why put that on there?
Also, wasn't Resistance technically a 2007 game in the UK? That should have definitely been on their list.

3 - PS3 has the best first year games

PS3 first year is really probably the best first year in terms of game profile (including UT3 and prologue if u import) of the 3 systems in my opinion. X360 had gears but i really don't remember what else it had that stood out in the first year. and Wii...err,

Wii got Zelda and Metroid :)

Real problem on Wii is extremly stupid controller and bad third-party support. All games are made by Nintendo and they dont even encourage other devs to develop on their console. They want all money I guess.

I was about to agree with the list, but then I saw others and I thougt 5 is way to small to give those titles credits. So, I would do

1: UC, R&C, Warhawk, CoD4, Motorstorm, HS, ...(*)
7: AC ... either its just my PS3 or that game has vertex errors (?). And finally I really have to motivate myself to keep playing (I have the feeling I played the same scene now 5 times - but haven't finished the game yet) despite the high quality of visuals - when they actually work.
...

(*) And probably UT3 and Folklore, but I had no chance to play that yet.

Great find and list. Three Speech rules. I'd add Ratchet & Clank TOD and it would be perfect IMO. Uncharted, COD4 and AC ROCK!

I liked folklore a helluva lot more than uncharted... more my style of game... :P Folklore is currently my favorite PS3 game... I thought i was bored of it so I sold it... but i went out and bought it again after the add-ons came out... cant get off it now

So you're saying a game is good solely by sales? If something were good only by sales, then Windows should be the greatest OS out there. It is most definitely not. If sales determined something was good, then that means that rap music actually involves more talent than an entire orchestra's talent combined into one person.

Please, this news doesn't involve the 360, why do you troll PS3 news? I don't troll 360 news... neither should all of the ignorant PS3 fanboys on here. I get on to check the 360 news every once in awhile to see if there's anything to spark my interest, but I do not troll at all. Now that all that rant is over... STOPPIT!!

the PS3 had a better first year than the Playstation 2 had, game wise. despite negative press, in the console's 1st year on the market, some solid exclusive, and multi-platform titles have been released, and it dropped down to a much more affordable price (if people are running out and buying the $450 360 Elite, i don't see how they could complain about the $400, Blu Ray enabled Playstation 3 40gig).
