Mark Reign said that there would be limied amount of copies avaiable on the 12th. So everyone better get UT3 on day One. Also Does UT3 has 4 player split screen deathmatch? Because thats the only reason Im kind of holding out to get UT3.

this game came out in Feb08

i have to many things to play and with Warhawk OmegaDawn COD4 HVB AC Uncharted Tekken GT5 prolouge i just have to much to play 2 really spend the time online with it....

I might get the game i might not. I cant play more then one FPS at a time and right now i have two that RULE the earth of FPS's

(which isn't a lot 8D) the online aspect should be just fine. As 5.3 said the PS3 is region-free and there shouldn't be a problem w/ running a Yank game on the UK servers or Nippon, et al....

Incidently, anyone heard that the region free aspect of the PS3 is gonna end with MGS4? When I picked up Uncharted the other day in GAME (Yeah, I know... Not exactly the most trustworthy of console information!) I was told that MGS4 is going to be the first region locked game. Anyone know any better?

There's nothing like this game.. It's totally and completely manic and such a head rush!!!

I remember playing the older one on my Xbox.. it was superb. I hope they haven't deviated from firepower too much and gone in for a bit more into melee.

I can't wait for the 360 version and envy the PS3 owners for getting this superb game for the xmas break..

Call of Duty 4 should slow down a little bit now that its been out for a bit. And I'm pretty sure that a lot of gamers were waiting and hoping that this game would hit before 08. It may not dominate PS3 sales, but I think that it will at least sell at a good, moderate pace.

but i hope it isnt the case. Personally id say UT has got more "pick up and play" than both CoD4 and halo.

i found CoD4 a little short lived, i mean it took me 19 hours to work through ALL the ranks... thats just to quick, but once you unlock Prestiage mode it becomes more about points than fun (still love it though). UT doesnt have that problem, its just FUN FUN FUN.

im not so sure about that mighty, i actually think halo has more pick up and play, aside from all the kids screaming obscenities. Its very easy to play, an i mean insanely easy. Its so slow..., the aiming is pretty easy too. I regularly get the top score on social slayer ( not ranked, im sure i will get taken there), and I play it like one or two rounds on saturdays when im at my cousins. Its such a slow paced game that pretty much everyone can get into, plus the kids love bunny hopping. But UT3, that is just a little too frantic for the newcomer. If someone doesnt really play an fps or is new to gaming, they would get creamed at UT its just too damn fast

the mods will make sure that the game stays fresh for those who get it earlier. I'm sure the rest of you guys will still be playing when the rest of us in the UK are allowed to join you.

Sony should have put some marketing power behind this one, since it is such a renowned brand, and has the potential to be a huge seller... I'm not sure whats going on in the States on TV, but all I'm seeing in Canada right now is Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect for the 360 O_o

Where are all the darn reviews I never buy a game without reading reviews!!!
I really don't know what to do with this one, I could import for PS3 but what will be the situation with online, will I still be able to play on UK release against UK friends?
I could wait for the UK version but I really don't want to because then I will be tempted to wait for the 360 version as I have more friends on live who I know IRL.

I was thinking of importing Ut3 to europe (sweden) its actually cheaper than if i buy it here, but i have one question. Can i get downloadable content from eu store to work with my imported US copy?
