PS3 'Orange Box' Dated

G4 The Feed - Monday, December 03, 2007:

"Finally, PlayStation 3 gamers will be able to join the PC and 360 ranks and experience the joy and wonder that is The Orange Box.

The Orange Box for PS3 comes out on December 11th, and G4 feels confident in predicting that its release will end the bickering over which console is superior once and for all. Portal is just good enough to herald a new age of cross-console generosity and brotherhood. Hallelujah!

wasn't Orange Box already considered dated? It's the single biggest reason I didn't get it for the 360 and passed on Ninja Sigma for the PS3. They were both already dated.

I mean who wants OB when you can play Halo 3?
And who will want it for the PS3 when you can play UT3?
Or COD4 for both systems?

5.1 - Unfortunately it won't "end the bickering".

Since the 360 version runs smoother and came out earlier, it is the superior version. But PS3 owners won't give up. Only when they make the switch, will the bickering end.

6.3 - I agree.

I played the original Half-Life 2 on PC. I had more fun with Deus Ex 2 a full year before HL2 came out. I also liked Vampire Maquerade: Bloodlines (a Source Engine game), better. VMB actually put the "40 points of facial articulation" to good use.

Half-Life 2 was "too serious". It was boring. I don't have much desire to pick up the Orange Box.

and is my all time favourite FPS - But I am NOT going to support EA / Valve and will NOT buy this Brand new.

I'll wait 'till I find it used. If developers can't be bothered to give me a decent product and give my their ass to kiss then I'll jsut have to show them mine.
