I wonder if they will have to make many sacrifices for the online/multi player portion of this in regards to destructible environments and detail. Looks like they are putting in a lot of effort across all platforms.

8 - BF:BC is the only game I'm excited about

COD is fun, but it isn't exactly innovative; I've been playing games like COD4 since 2002, only they were better because I could fly planes and choppers and drive tanks and stuff.

COD has nothing on the BF series as it has been so far on PC, and if DICE gives us half of what they are promising, I will play this game until my console melts.

I just wish that BF:BC allowed more players on the servers.

In house EA developement sucks, but the other studios such as DICE, Criterion, CryTek, Bioware deliver the goods and benefit from the larger budget that EA provides them with.

i loved 2142 for the time i played it. i havent played it much lately since my clan is addicted to WoW and im trying to not be such a rotten ass in front of the computer. this looks cool, an im sure ill check it out once it hits the stores. and ill run all of you over :D its my thing XD

How does COD4 raise the bar? 4kmx4km open maps? Drivable vehicles from jeeps to helicopters? Destructible environments, from ground to trees to towers?

Honestly, I'd say that as fun as COD4 is to play, it's just a place-holder for the real bar-raisers like Crysis and BF:BC. Good graphics != great game.

but EA's rep lately hasn't been all that great. With slower framerates and choppy gameplay for the PS3, I hope they can ressurect their status. Especially with me. This was the first time in 17 years I didn't buy MAdden because of this problem.

21 - I hope online is not restricted to CLAN as much as the last BF

I have no issue with CLAN play, but at times if me and some buds want to just play a 3 on 3, we should be open to do so rather than created and deleting clans.

THis way, you can work on tactics as well.

This is good. CoD 4 got too repetitive for me. I reached level 55, and I am not interested to unlock the challenges just to get new camo. I want new guns and maps.

And almost every match is a camper party. I don´t like being shot by a guy that´s sitting in a corner jerking off to his LMG with ACOG scope.

Guess it helps to be from Norway, so i can understand all of what they`re saying, even though their english sucks ;)

It looks to be the first game from EA i might want to pick up along with Burnout, even though as with Burnout, it`s not a EA studio which is making it.

I`m a bit worried about how the framerate will cope with all those explosions, but the game do seem like a blast.

26 - 3 things concern me about this title

Balance: How are they going to balance this game between ground troops vs vehicles since everything is now destructible? In previous version of battlefield you could hide behind or in buildings. Now the tank can turn that building into a pile of rubble with you in it or behind it.

Online: The last Battlefield did not run well online. I gave up playing it after a few months because of the lag and connection issues. Now they are really raising the bar with how much will be going on and everything being destructible.

EA: nough said ;-)
