1 - Easily the 360

It has the greatest holiday game lineup in history. And already had great games from the start. With the best yet to come. Then you have the PS3...yeah not worth anyones time or money. Wii on the other hand is decent, SGM is worth the price of a wii. PS3 can't say that about anything it has, and never will be able to.

Where did I say the PS3 had 0 games? That's right I didn't. You have no worth while exclusives is what I said. Your best game is R&C(easy mode kiddie game). You have no game to justify the price point for the PS3. Maybe if it were 100$ then it would be worth while. Until then, it fails.

Wii is the best gift because it's inexpensive and the person you're giving it to won't look at you funny for spending $350 and up. If you want a system that does everything then PS3 is the way to go and you have great games now and for next year. 360 is a bad choice unless the person likes shooters, but even then there's a good chance that the system will red ring. So in order from best to worst if you don't know what the person wants:
1. Wii: should be enjoyed by everyone even for non gamers
2. PS3: movies, browse web, great games
3. 360: specific game genres great for the shooter fan

I would say the Wii as a gift but you can't find any for under $600(dam scalpers). So your best bet is to get a PS3, that would be my choice. I own all three but the PS3 gets the most use.

I just want to ask the author about....How is PS3 the biggest disappoint in the history of gaming?

He mentions about PS3 that it plays blu ray movie but not the games.. o well is there really no game? i don't want to bring up the list but if you are a logical person i bet you can enjoy a handful of games this christmas on PS3

so it doesn't sell 12million units worldwide and its a big disappointment? its priced at 600>500>400 and it still sells approximately half of Wii and 100% Xbox360 in their first year....

and a few games would come next year? so how many big titles do Wii and Xbox360 really get this year? i mean hey...comparable with MGS4 and LBP...this author is obviously biased...

360 is garbage... I love how people talk about all these exclusives they have. I don't see 1 that I'm interested in. not a 1. Halo, Gears of War, Mass Effect "although really good, isn't my kind of game" Bio Shock... I mean, what else is there and why don't these apply to me? I simply don't like anything they're selling.

not their online fee, not their games, not their system's look... nothing. I certainly don't like the faulty hardware and 33% defective rate, either.

Wii... well this is a joke. right? I wouldn't own a wii if nintendo sent me royalties.

Ps3 is the best console to own... bar none. It's the most functional right out of the box and has the exclusives I want and already obtain "ha"

However, It's not the system I'd buy this year... nope. The psp is the system everyone should be buying this year. It's got so much going for it right now that anyone who doesn't own one needs to check into owning one. IT's probably my most played system. I love my psp and again it has more functionality than the xbox 360, wii and ds combined...

-- That's how many people feel about the PS3. People that prefer western style games love the 360, and the 360 games you mentioned. Halo and Bioshock are two amazing shooters. Technically, Bioshock is half RPG. Mass Effect is amazing. Game of the year, IMO.

I have yet to see one article that says PS3 has the superior games lineup. Oh that's right, I forgot, Microsoft pays off everyone in the literary universe to write that the 360 has the better lineup.

My own thoughts on the matter are hardly going to change anyones mind -though I'm fortunate enough to own all the consoles.

Steve Boxer is the worst gaming journalist currently in the media eye, and his anti PS3 bias is legendary. Anyone living in the UK who can watch X league TV will see him in the discussion panels, always PS3 bashing and getting annoyed with other journalists and editors when they pull him up and disagree with him. I'm not a fan of any one machine over the other, but I do despise people who 'hate' with so little reason, and this guy has made me want to punch my TV on numerous occasions.

Learn to live with the fact that they are all great consoles and the PS3 is not the second comming of Christ. The way some people defend their consoles is retarded, i am from the UK and own a PS3 and a xbox 360, and i am still waiting to be blown away by a game on the ps3 like i was blown away seing gears of war for the first time. Still 2007 360 is the better option if you want games here and not, ps3 is the better option if you want games for the future, and in my opinion its good that us ps3 owners know for sure there are going to be absolute stonkers in 2008, but 360 and 2008 is less clear at the mo.

No games? I play COD4,Eye Of Judgement, Warhawk, Ratchet, Pain, Resistance, Motorstorm, Oblivion etc... they seem like games to me. Oh and the twat forgot to mention UT3 in time for XMAS.
Oh and I watched Full Metal Jacket in 1080/24p on my 50" bravia tonight with a large pizza and a couple of Kirin beers. I don't know, seemed pretty good to me.
The PS3 never blew up once, and I couldn't here the cooling fan over the movie.
