2 - I don't get why he says the game is amazing in every way in the review and then gives it an 8

I loved the game, but I guess everyone has their own opinion. Maybe he just didn't get it, because I don't see how this game could get less then a 9.

I think it's the first game that really shows off the PS3 and sets the bar a little higher for games, it really looks stunning. I thought that the games feel and game play were really sweet. Not to mention the interaction from the other characters on the screen with you.

All done really well, I don't know maybe it's just me, but what more could you have really wanted from the game?

I mean what were you looking for in the game that you felt they didn't deliver, or could have been done better? (seriously, someone answer this, I would like to know?)

Agree with crazy... they game is perfect in almost every way... an absolute blast to play

It really disgusts me when people who never played the game be4 bashes a game, be it ps3ers bashing halo and mass effect and xboxers on ratchet and uncharted. If you played it and there's a problem you have with it then its fair, but if your blindly bashing and calling people who played and loved the game a fanboy then theres something seriously wrong with you

Plus, every few minutes you will be treated to a short cinematic interlude to help push the story along. There are more than 100 minutes of these high-quality non-interactive sequences.

sounds like he just came out of the 17th century or something, next he will be saying " oh these hand paddle's let you make the little character on the picture box move around, how quaint"

Yeah, that guys doesn't seem to play a lot. "When you are out of amo...". How the hell do you run out of amo in UC ? There are weapons laying around every where, and even if you do, use those amazing side kicks.

developers should say their games is for xbox 360 and maybe the scores might go up since many sites are biased against ps3 >.> when they see its on 360... 10 even though no game deserves a 10. I also have a feeling this is gonna be on gamerankings or metacritic since its a ps3 game review under 9, i noticed lots of 9s and above aren't in for ratchet...hmm i wonder why

This game so far is Awesome with a capital A.if your going to pick on something like replayability or story branching your just being a fanboy.u can say the same thing about bioshock replayability or story branching.from what ive seen from reading reviews it only had 2 endings either u kill the littie sisters or not and its up for game of the year......so should be uncharted in my opinion.

Id say a 8.5 I almost beat it today. Why do all the exploration games add monsters in the end :/ Game looks nice not best looking game ever though but it looks decent has a lot of graphical popup.Cool game and a must have though.

I love this game and I think it deserves a good score but as 8.1 said it isn't the best looking game ever and I do find the pop-ups annoying (I got used to it in Mass Effect) but nothing that ruins the gameplay. It has actually got me to dust off the PS3 and play it since RFOM.

Not bashing but what pop ups are you referring to? Are you talking about when you earn a reward and the reward earned screen pops up? Just to clarify because if you are talking about the graphics there are no tears or pop ups in the graphics what so ever. They did a great job going from scene to scene very smoothly.

no singleplayer-only game should be considered a purchase, with the exception of RPG's...

and its god damn amazing game its just im not that kinda guy who goes back through games and gets all the unlockables only game i did that with is probaly KH2,Im thinking about trading it in to get skate. but don't get me wrong this game has the best graphics than anything out on any consoles right now(show me a better looking game) and best gameplay ive played in a long while. some times ill just chapter select to my favorite part or watch my favorite cutscenes from the game.

16 - Uncharted is my most wanted PS3 game

I plan on getting it for Christmas, and love the demo, but it's a little disheartening to hear some of those that played through it, are regretting their purchase or are ready to trade it in.
Is there any incentive to play through more than once? Unlockables?

There are 60 medals. I got 45 on my first run. In the first place I didn't want to play thru again, but after I was done I had to start immediately again. Couldn't get enough of it. So, the second time I'm ramping up the difficulty and will try to get those remaining 15 medals. But that's gonna be hard. These things are pretty tiny and you have to be very careful to find them (actually I know where two more are, but couldn't figure out how to get there. I'll take more time the second time to figure that out).

And, well, it took me a week to get thru (because I wanted - I'm no fan of a fast climax :), so the length is OK with me. If it would be longer, I probably wouldn't play it again.
