Downloading now, 130MB and it takes you to the download prompt when you boot the game.

I'll have a look at exactly what it does when the D/L is done but the fact they have had nearly 4 weeks to sort out a crippled game means they had better have got everything sorted or else this game is going to trade in.

THE Replay is MUCH improved...i am going to try online now

edit:offline problem is completely resolved in my case
and the replay is much improved
when i get to the online screen, konami says it is still working on the online, it might be somewhat problematic atm, but i could see improvement and it is much better playable now..

Tried to download the patch there and everytime it says an error occured during downloadin, now I cant even play it on my ps3 coz it wont let me download! What a joke, Sony ur console is a mess!
I know its Konamis problem but the PS3 doesnt allow u to play the game until its updated! Xbox is a far better console!

well, just d/l it, and the 1 platyer experience is better...replays arent running 100%, but they are a lot better...

i never did play it online before, so i dont know if its better or what, but ill sure be trying it tonight :)

downloaded the patch. No difference nline/offline. Actually online is much worse than before!!! What the hell is going on?

Can not even trade it in as now half price in shops.

so what was the point in the patch? Slightly smoother off-line but 130mb worth?? Dont think so. Anyway offline was not the issue. Online is what they should be sorting out and not taking people for mugs

You can now bask in the glory with lovely replays, sure they're not 100% but 90% is way better than it was! and there's pretty much no slow down whatsoever in matches, if it had come out like this originally it would definately have gotten higher scores. Very pleased. Dunno what big brady is on about? sure your not playin somethin else mate?

U sure you played it online yet? It unplayable. Check the incoming story on front page. Still lag and freezing online. Who cares if the replays are SLIGHTLY smoother. WOW!!!

why do we game on consoles? this is one question i have asked myself over the years, not just because hardware is relatively cheaper and u dont have to upgrade for another couple years, but the ease of just popping in and playing without having to worry about framerates, hangups or patches or even extra content or downloading of any kind and also the fun of having fighting game exclusives, next gen consoles have lost this focus and are trying too hard to be pcs, leave pcs be, why so many first person shooters now when there are only about 4-5 fighting games on both next gen consoles combined worth playing? Why the patches and framerate issues just to fight to provide visual fidelity to compete with current day pc games? I know graphics is a plus and needs to improve but when it comes at the expense of these things then they should pick hardware and sdk very carefully before launching the console, because the more pc like u become, the more likely you are prone to the problems pcs face, what happened to the tons and tons of console exclusives? more games are now multiplat or only timed exclusives for consoles due to more pc-like games and less console-like genres like fighting and other games like disgaea
i know most of u think u need a $5000 supercomputer to play most pc games at their prime visual fidelity but that's a big fat myth, u dont even need to build ur computer, u can grab a barebone for very cheap these days, besides if u buy games as much as i do, u know in the long run pc will catch up in price and be cheaper due to cheaper software
