whats it got to do with Sony ??
it's the game developers who issue game patches not Sony unless Sony have developed it

360 version doesn't require a patch, that's the difference.

From several different impressions, the 360 version doesn't have nearly the framerate problems and constant freezing that the PS3 one has. By the way, gamesR4fun tried to start the flamewar not me.

1.6 - I seriously dont think there is any way too patch framerate problems.....
If that was the case madden 08 would of been patched long time ago am I right??You need more memory for framerate problems right....?? other things like glitches going through mountains on the 360 and that 2 character glitch can be fixed. But still have not experienced any of those problems.
I have read infinity ward did alot of tricks with the memory right...so using them as the poster child for making great games on the ps3 fails because while those may be the minority, there are a majority of games on ps3 with problems.

@1.6 there are ways to patch, just think of it like a modified autoexec.cfg for any of Valve's PC games. You just need to tell the game to be more optimized for your type of system, and possibly increase the multi-core usage or the hard drive usage.

@1.6, lol so you are saying framerate problems are due to lack of memory on PS3? CoD4 and Uncharted would like to visit you this weekend then ;)

@Hugh
Yeah well I own both and I've completed it very much so on the 360 (profile shows gamertag with 815 AC points) and I can tell you firsthand that they're both JUST AS BUGGY. Anyone who says one system's bugs are greater than the other is uninformed. It's not the PS3 or 360s fault, it's Ubi's for rushing through the QA process.

1.10 - sorry for being honest
Its true tho because the ps3 has a hd standard and games are made to be installed on it (just like a pc) it can get patched...
Has for this being a ps3 only issue LOL look I own both machines played it on both and the 360 version is glitchier imo
On the ps3 its frozen about 4 times in about 20/h of gameplay my dad wont play his 360 version cause it freezes and glitches too much. Got the game off him put it in my 360 and lo and behold not only is it more prone to freezing but Im seeing more clipping frame drops and the AI's getting stuck on ladders etc etc...
So ya whatever you fanboys say is BS you cant have a real look at the games and be impartial about the facts cause you got a 360 fever. Just like when I was saying ME had some major issues fanbots were all like no it aint so well try youtube now that its out... Just like i said major Frame rate issues insane loads and crashes.... (tho it never really crashed on me just slowed down so bad I had to reboot)
Stupid thing is that I dont hate teh 360 I bought it because it has some great games. Just suffers from too many blind fanboys who should be more concerned with the quality of their games than defending a piece of hardware at Ng4... Fact is if we has consumers accept this kind of half finished crap soon well be right out of playable games...

3 - There's a workaround...
Whilst you wait for the patch, signing out of the PSN before playing seems to provide stability. Have played for hours when signed out with no issues...

6 - ps3 version
i have the ps3 version and have had no problems at all. no frame rate issues, freezing, nothing. i don't think i would give it a 10/10 though, it's more like 8/10, the voice acting is really bad.

naw the framerates pretty solid on mine (for most of the game) has well but it has frozen about 4 times on me... I can see how someone might not have had that issue on theirs yet has for the frame drops its pretty subtle some might not even see it...

I get the feeling that the beta testers did not find any freezes either because they were crap testers or there were no testers at all.
I have only had one freeze so far but one is enough.

8 - Meet my twin...
Both versions need a patch.
X360 version is pretty buggy (when falling and freerunning, sometimes you get into the buildings. Falling down into invisible holes, twin bug etc.), and from what I've heard, PS3 shares the same bug, but has some frame issues (or so says IGN, apparently GameSpot says otherwise)
Brilliant game though, I would definately getting a possible sequel!

10 - it's rather unfortunate and true
it's sad really sad
why do we game on consoles as opposed to pcs? this is one question i have asked myself over the years, not just because hardware is relatively cheaper and u dont have to upgrade for another couple years, but the ease of just popping in and playing without having to worry about framerates, hangups or patches or even extra content or downloading of any kind and also the fun of having fighting game exclusives, next gen consoles have lost this focus and are trying too hard to be pcs, leave pcs be, why so many first person shooters now when there are only about 4-5 fighting games on both next gen consoles combined worth playing(Considering the fact that fighting games has always been one of the biggest genre for consoles cos of the badass fun factor)? Why the patches and framerate issues just to fight to provide visual fidelity to compete with current day pc games? I know graphics is a plus and needs to improve but when it comes at the expense of these things then they should pick hardware and sdk very carefully before launching the console, because the more pc like u become, the more likely you are prone to the problems pcs face, what happened to the tons and tons of console exclusives? more games are now multiplat or only timed exclusives for consoles due to more pc-like games and less console-like genres like fighting and other games like disgaea
i know most of u think u need a $5000 supercomputer to play most pc games at their prime visual fidelity but that's a big fat myth, u dont even need to build ur computer, u can grab a barebone for very cheap these days, besides if u buy games as much as i do, u know in the long run pc will catch up in price and be cheaper due to cheaper software
enjoy ur ps3s and 360s, i'm happy to see innovative titles like uncharted(though i haven't played slightly breaking this trend I talk about),
for me, I've unfortunately returned both my 360 and ps3 and got a barebone badass gaming rig, quad core, 8800gt, 2gb ram, and had some extra money on the side to get crysis and some other pc exclusives, it has its kinks but u can still enjoy gaming on ur couch with ur gamepad, i'll be waiting for assassin's come february for pc, i pray for a non sloppy port
