Add GameSpy's 7/10 and gamers can be officially confused once again.

But seriously, the playable demo they had at some game shows and conventions was really bad and nothing like the great classic Time Crisis games. As one of the 2 review sources that I trust, GameInfomer is reliable source IMO with seeing the game myself, it's indeed a 4 to 5 game.

Plus, it's the ugliest looking PS3 game I've seen so far.

I have to agree with it being "the ugliest PS3 game ever"

I won't attempt to defend this game, it's a lightgun game, it doesn't interest me, but people that actually buy this, are most probably fans of the arcade version/Time Crisis Series/ Light gun games, and thus, would most probably be satisfied with the game itself and any little additions it has to offer.

In a sense, it's very much like Eye of Judgment, it's very niche, but those that like it, I suppose like it alot. The IGN reviewer may have been a fan of lightgun games. The others, consider it old and outdone.

Hmmm tough cookie for me I usually only respect IGN and Game informer Reviews. and they conflict. not that i was gunna buy this game anyhow. I play it after movies at the theater so no lose either way.

hmm... i was expecting this game to be sweet, i played it in arcades and thought it was dece. i had time crisis 2 w/guncon2 for ps2 and it was so wicked. maybe ill read some more reviews.

11 - I wish there was a arcade in Los Angeles that had it

I'd like to try it out first.
All the PS2 rail shooter ports like Vampire Night, Ninja Assault, and Time Crisis 2 & 3 were pretty good, but unfortunately the guncon 3 isn't backwards compatible.

Well, hopefully House of The Dead 4 gets a good port.

Also, I wish they would bring Typing of The Dead 2 to the states.

Assassin's Creed got quite tiresome for me (the gameplay becomes a routine)
Uncharted was a lot of fun, but there's way too many gun battles (on the brink of genocide), which play out the same for the most part.

15 - There was a lot of smack talk in the 1up review but now the defence is in full force.

The game is horrible, it's a fact it's not some MS conspiracy. I would start questioning IGN rating system, it seems a bit off.

Is this what the games reviewing has come to wee kiddies running around thinking they know what games are and have no bloody idea what they are even playing.

Has anyone here actually read the page or just sat there write yeah, 4.25? that's lame.

The guy has this game pegged as a bloody FPS game you know Time Crisis 4 = CoD4, how does 1 get a job reviewing games if they don't bloody know what bloody game genre they are bloody reviewing in the first place.

I loved this bit in this "review"

"Once the game starts, players will be astounded to realize that no-reticle is the standard default approach to gameplay. In fact, only some of the levels even offer you the option to turn it back on."

Um, Mate!

I don't know what bloody light gun games your playing I suppose CoD4, Quake, Half Life 2... I take it? but there's never been a bloody cross on the screen to show where the gun is pointing, mainly because you use the gun as the cross you know point at bad guy shoot type deal... no?

Next quote

"A traditional FPS on a normal controller in this day and age would never be released in this poor shape, and the fact that you’re using a gun shouldn’t have changed that assertion. You’ll trudge, slow as a turtle, through horribly linear and uninteresting level designs as enemies pop out to attack utilizing their “please shoot me” AI."

Again your not playing a bloody FPS game!!! it's a light gun game they flow slow so you have time to aim and shoot the cookie cutter guys wanting you to shot them but then again if they didn't do that it wouldn't be a light gun game.

How F'n dopy is this guy and by the same token there's a bunch of people posting on here agreeing with this guy who thinks time crisis 4 is a bloody FPS game.

F me no wonder he gave it a 4.25? he doesn't bloody know what is playing half the time.

I'm ordering this game today, I really have seen some out there reviews lately. The spike in ridiculous scores makes it hard for me to take these reviews seriously, looking forward to picking this up over the weekend.
