As I've said before, all it takes to be an "insider" anymore is that no one know who you really are.

If I said a lot of things about this and that and said I knew it all, no one would believe me, because I'm just your average guy, and that means I have no credibility.

However, Surfer Girl has none, either. Until we know who Surfer Girl is, she's not news, just rumours. When we can see this person actually has reason to talk about things, we can believe her.

Until then, listening to her is like hiring a lawyer that you're not sure passed the bar.

but couldn't you conclude everything is either old news if you can find a reference to it or a guess if you can't?

Until the "guesses" either come true or not who can say? If she/he gets 50% correct does that mean they were good guesses, coin flips or real information?

To me the whole surfer girl thing looks like a stab at publicity. She even said in an interview that she only reported game information to attract people to her political stories but it never panned out, no one cared about her political opinions. If that's the case, why keep reporting the game stories?

Of course a surfer girl is guaranteed to attract young male attention... that's a no brainer.

Because she's getting a ton of hits on her website. Maybe she's real. Maybe she isn't. Regardless, she's playing this site and a lot of gamers to make a tidy amount of money.
