PS3 Haze Cleared for December 14 Release

Shacknews: "Much like Rudolph leading Santa's sleigh in the murky winter night, Haze, one of this year's few third party PlayStation 3-only titles, will light the way for Sony's console on December 14, reports Three Speech.

Telling the tale of a drug-enhanced commando facing a moral quandry, the first current-gen effort from TimeSplitters developer Free Radical was originally announced for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The other two versions disappeared from Ubisoft documents in May, and at the time, an Ubisoft rep declined to label the game an exclusive, chuckling, "We just felt that PS3 needed some love.""

This makes me nervous. Haze has gotten nothing but bad previews. If UT3 is really getting a December release, they might as well push it back to next year and polish it a little more.

I think the multiplayer/online aspect of this is gonna be unreal. The guns and vehicles looks mad - just seems like so much fun is to be had with this.

who would have thought that from judging the buggy HALO trailer from E3 2000..it would have become a launch classic...

TS ran like silk and probably had more multiplayer options than any other shooter ever. How cool was it having Ducks and Elvis's for bots?

You people all complain about games getting overhyped and now this game is coming out and you're all "meh". You cant have it both ways.

I've got no reason to doubt Free Radical, they haven't missed yet and this game might not have been hyped to the gills but I dont see them missing here. Everything I've seen looks gorgeous and you just cant knock the talent of this team.

Why do you think Rare has sucked since all the talent left?

This game is only exclusive cause they knew how average it really was. It'll show up next year on the xbox 360 looking and playing much better... just like all game do anymore. It's a piece a' DAMN JOKE, if you ask me. I bet this game gets a 7 in graphics and an overall 6.5 for lack of orginality, story and doing nothing innovative. Watch and see.

YUP that's why HALO 3 got 10's across the board cuz it was so innovative and brought fresh ideas to the FPS genre

well we already have dual story roles in this game..something to look forward to already

4 player online co-op the main reason why I want this game...and the concept just overall seems interesting..

Plus Free Radicall....makes F-U-N games..not everything has to have the word INNOVATIVE slapped beside it..for it to be fun...get a grip with reality..!

funny how you point to the shooter with some of the most innovation this year, and just dump idiot'ness out of your face...weapon stealing, playing dead, nectar (od, nectar grenades, dipped knives), full streamed levels with no loading at all (still wondering what that will be like)...what other shooters have any single thing like that?...let alone all of it...

why is it that as soon as a fanboy decides he doesn't like a certain game (more often than not because of exclusitivity)...he just turns into a complete retard?...if you don't like the game...thats fine...don't be a retard...at least understand that it is a game that is trying to do some things very differently than other shooters...

also when did you play the finished game?...I will be waiting back at this post when the reviews start coming out...the makers of goldeneye have somewhat of a clue what they are doing...

13 - you know while alot of people here might njot be convinced

i'm pretty sure or a least leaning towards the pedigree of Free rad, this game will come out of no where and seriously surprise everyone who has doubts. it should be a hit with everything going into it. seeing as they aren't doing a joke yet fun attempt at FPS ala time splitters.

but it's much more serious, a cool narritive, some interesting weapons, 4 player coop on and offline, 24 player mutiplayer online. looks to be an engaging single player campaign, with a double story of two sides. and some interesing game play mechanics, and a fully streaming engine for seamless game play experiences and good graphics. all these people knocking it really got to give the fanboi rig a rest, i remeber a few months ago when it was for 360 and they were comparing it to crysis it was looking so good according to fanboys depend on which on you listen to, now it's a PS3 exclusive and suddenly it's generic and so so, boy i tell you fankids are a funny buncj none the less it's a game i'm looking forward to, and should proove to be quite fun.

a demo should be due the last thursday of NOV, giving users about 2 weeks to try before buy.
