1.1 - Yeah... pretty sweet...

This is one thing that I definitely commend SONY for. There is a lot of freedom and customization that you can do with the PS3 that you've not been able to do with other consoles without hacking them.
I just wish we could get some more top shelf exclusive games.

no they are in ZIP files so you need a PC/storage device. Save the file in the folder PS3(sub folder) THEME

yes you can download them, as long as it isn't a "funny" site (some sites do not work correctly with the PS3's browser)...but installing them is the problem...when you install a theme, it only looks for a USB device or memory card...it doesn't look on the local HDD...so, in a way...you have to use a memory card or usb device as of right now to install it...

My guess is SCE will come up with some sort of installer, so they can put these on the PS store and stuff...but that doesn't help for websites like this...maybe an update to the theme creation tool also, that will pack these into a PS3 specific installer so that you can find it on the xmb after a download, and install it from there...

I can't believe that site expects you to register without getting a glimpse of the themes beforehand.

As a concept I'm loving the customisability of the PS3. Given a bit more time there will be some really nice themes around.

Thanks - that is a step in the right direction.

I suggest a better technique for getting a following on the site is to show everything but force people to register in order to see the download links. Many people will be put off as there is still little to go on.

P.S. I noticed the Joomla favicon is still present in the code, it shows up on my Firefox tab.

KUDOS to you guys for making these nice themes but i carnt download any of them ....when i hit the download link the internet explorer says canot conect to the web page or do you wont to conect to the internet to find a program to open this file and file not supported and so on i carnt be botherd with this so i guse ill just download them when they hit the psn store. i dont wont to create an acount with rappid or any of the other ones it would be best for a download exe file that much i can understand ..keep up the good work though guys KUDOS to youi all.

22 - MY 2 WEEK OLD PS3 DIES

TONIGHT after downloading some of these nice themes my new ps3 wont read any game discs at all ive reformated it but no change mine is the new 40gig modle and im really pissed about it but i carnt say for sure if it was any of these themes but its strange that it was working fine before i downloaded any of them....is it possabile that one of them could have been infected ///???? i wont mess about with these themes anymore just in case.. have to get a new ps3 now tomorrow ..just thought i would post this to see if anyone ellse has had a problemb...if you have you can also contact me at arcadegoal@aol.com and i will keep an eye out and contact sony if nessarsery. EDIT IVE CLEAND MY DISCS THEY ARE FINE..

I've seen posts about consoles having these problems after firmware 2.0, maybe that's your problem.
