this is for the ps3 so it will most likely come out in japan first then everywhere else a year later just like all there other naruto games... so by the time it comes out here the second would most likely be.... then again i guess u could always buy the japanese version ... either way history will repeat it self ..i mean look at final fantasy and metal gear all gonna follow the same trend..japan release first then the rest.

Like no offence, but this just absolutely smacks the crap out of the 360 version, maybe they just put more effort into this one, that looks like a playable anime show, not a really obviously cell shaded non-fluid game.

But back on topic: I would rather see a direct feed, not easily impressed, sorry. The one for 360 had such an impressive art style and the animation are great. I watch all of the Naruto's and am waiting for Naruto Shippuuden 133 to come out. So i would say that i'm a seasoned Naruto fan. The 360's really impressed me, hopefully this one for the PS3 won't slack.

But i am hoping the 360's game get's the attention it deserves, i doubt it though as to the fact that there are too many great games coming out on the console that the Naruto game can't compete. I'm broke, i have it reserved, but i can't afford it.

Great time to be a gamer, but it's a double-edged sword. Great games coming out, but running out of money and time to buy and play them all. Sales would have been better if Ubisoft avoided it's release so close to: Halo 3, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Call of Duty 4, PGR 4, and etc. New IP's should come out when the dust has settled from gargantuan giant established games.

Yeah the game looks the same to me, but you'll never convince Sony fans. Any attempt to do so will result in being attacked. And they far outnumber Xbox on internet forums, mainly because most of them have no games on PS3 to keep them off the net. You are exactly right. This is NOT the 360 version. This is a totally different game by the people/company that ACTUALLY OWN the Naruto franchise (namco/bandai and cyberconnect2)

Sony fanboys should just enjoy this game and stop bringing up the 360 game it makes you look foolish this PS3 game isn't even in the same ball park. I'v played Naruto for at least 10 hours now; the differences are as great to me as ps2 vs 360. bland effects, weak power scenes, no where near as much detail(no painted grass all standing it folds under Naruto's feet when he walks on it).

You should enjoy Naruto PS3 project and never mention Naruto ROAN again in a comparison People look at you as fanatic idiots when you do; when folks see both games in action.

laugh my ass of, this is being made by a japanese developer, not UBISOFT as the 360 version was, secondly if this was indeed a port, the moniker Naruto PS3 project would not be used at all and would have just been Naruto rise of ninja, you fankid idiots need to pull you head out of the sand when speak because you make your self look like uneducated.

while i'm a fan of the show, the one with the jap voices anyway, i never really cared for the games because they sucked. but this one i might actually have to pic up. and by the way, this one looks closer to the show than the 360 one where it definately looks like it was a 3d cell shade game. while this looks like the just copied the hi res pics they use from the officail animation and started the game from that. this looks amazing.

Ratchet TOD + PS3 =PIXAR movie in a game,

and Naruto PS3 project + PS3 = Real anime in a game.....

and not while i praise the ps3 version i never once said the 360 version looked bad, it just doesn't look like this.

Seriously this game looks good. I don't like Naruto too much, only because they talk for an hour before the action hits, and its not story driven talking like in Cowboy Bebop, or Samurai Champloo, its useless posturing about how great they all are or aren't.

Sorry I digress

This vid looks great, look closely and you can see how well the animated movements are, its crazy how well they did. My favorite part is where a combatant spits fire (Samuske i think is his name) and Naruto Dodges using flips and Spinning Kicks.

I hope this is an adventure game and not just a fighter, either way, this game is looking good

Not even in the same ball park, if Naruto was remade to be an animated movie with Pixar quality it would look like Naruto ROAN. Every single aspect of roan beats the PS3 project by far in regards of whats been shown. End of story the end.
