Uncharted Drake's Fortune demo seems to be locked for U.S Only

Yup, the new demo for Uncharted Drake's Fortune seems to run only on U.S console regarding new post on Neogaf forums. PS3 are freezing with a black screen or they ask you to insert a disc.
Maybe it's just a bug, who knows ?

Here there is one post illustrating the problem
"The people complaining about the two problems (blank screen, insert game disc), do you have a PAL system? I'm wondering if somehow there's something messed up there."

Well ... Then to our european playstation brothers, THE DEMO IS FUC|<ING AMAZING! I'm sorry, I'm not trying to rub it in, but DAMN this is a hell of a good game. I can see myself spending tons of hours playing this. Here's hoping you guys get the demo soon. :)

Edit; seems some of the PAL PS3s are crashing due to the demo? Maybe that's why they region locked it? Because there was a problem with running it on a PAL PS3? Who knows! :(

I'm in taiwan with a 6ogb NTSC ps3 and when I run the demo it just plays the Playstation splash screen and stays black.

Friends from Japan are also having trouble playing.

But if it was region locked, i think it should say it instead of giving you weird errors.

It sounds more like a bug.

6.2 - The Demo Rocks

Saying a lot since I really hated most of the demos on the PSN Store.

The Cover System + Fighting is awesome. It's not Heavenly Swords Cutscen like quality damn is it still nice to watch him do some stuff.
It basically has a lot of what they talked about in terms of features. you get to use the SIXAXIS for walking across the log [Gimmicky but still fun] and use it to give a trajectory for the grenade. Guess what? There's JUMP in this ps3 game lawlz.

Oh, one awesome thing is when he gets wet, his shirt and pants get drench. you actually see it!

18 - So it's confirmed, PSN sucks just as hard as Xbox Live.

It took me 20 min. to get logged in and another 15 min trying to get into the damn PSN store, without succes.

Same sh*t with Xbox Live, whenever something popular appears on Live/PSN, all goes @peshit!

The only problem i had downloading a demo was with bioshock..and if you remember it was announced on a tv show that the demo was available so many went and DL'D it...but after awhile it wad accessible...

leave it too sony too screw up something that was suppose too be so positive for you ps3 owners.

I had the same issue's with the Bioshock demo, the Skate demo, the Colin Mcrae demo, pretty much any popular demo.

If you have a fast connection and hit it at the right time, you might be lucky, but otherwise you're f*cked. But yes, after a day or two when the network traffic goes down again it's back to normal. But you'd expect them to fix this after so many times, but no! Ms doesn't give a sh*t.

MS is just as bad as Sony with "screwing up something positive".

22 - US PSN Store is down

FYI for those trying to access it.

ahhh... i see.

I turned off 720p and try to let it run only at 1080i. when it did that, the game goes to a black screen. I guess it's not meant to run at 1080i. so if you're TV doesn't at least do 720p you may be screwed. IDK.

Sony may be replacing the File that's one of the reason the Store is down? Do I care? not really, i have the demo <3
