i swear the people over at Sony with there marketing for both US and EU don't have there screws tight. because there commercials and marketing campaign reeks. they should hire this guy and snip this into smaller versions just so they could better market it's 3rd and first party games

This is what sony needs to do in the advertising department SHOW THE GAMES!! not those stupid ps3 in the white room ads, those are just god awful.

IF sony would just have constant commercials running this holiday season, they will do extremely well.

I love all Sony commercials. from TV to computer games. Thats why i posted this cool "unofficial PS3 commercial". I hope everyone (not just PS3 fans) like it.

Did anyone seen a big billboard? It shows a sandstorm and it said "feel the force" That is a very cool PS3 ad. ( i think it is only shown in UK)

Edit: for the disagreers, visit London and see for yourselves. There are many difference adverts for PS3. from billboards to buses.

I think it was a decent song, mostly because parts in the video corresponded to the music (like in big hits there would be a punch or explosion)

A less depressing song might have done though

I think Sony had a good song going with the "Mee-oo" thing that was in the E3 PS3 closer video if you know what im talking about

lol!!! a sony fankid must have though my comment was bad... people just for your info. i love Sony and there products. and i use it soo much more than i do my Wii. but with how they are going about there marketing you cant help but think that MS's marketing for there portfolio of games is much better. i mean we see most multiplat games being aired with the Jump in logo after each of them. i think if Sony was marketing there games and paying for exclusive rights to have multiplat games have the PLAYSTATION 3 come on after every commercials it would better garner more attention and coustomer awarness of the platforms and the Games and improve software attach rate and console sales.

right now MS is ahead of sony with there marketing. i keep saying it that in order for sony to sell PS3s well past 2 million this holiday season, they need top bombard the TV, news papers, internet and movie theatre adverts (like Gears) and flyers posters on electronics stores and bilboards worldwide rather than the meager attempt at advertising and hope for word of mouth to travel. i want them to be on top and sell amazingly through this fall.

market your first party releases bigger and then push your 3rd party software out there, then blaze the TV with 400 and 500 buck PS3 comercials 24/7 and christmas willl be in the bag.

that kid's talented aye. I really liked it, apart from the gay moments in the song, that was really well done. Apart from the text, that looked a tad armature-ish. However, a very well crafted piece I must say, Sony should take a strategy like that for their next ad campaign :P

... but they need to market themselves more. Perhaps they're holding off until they have a solid lineup TO market, but this holiday season is gonna see them far behind again without some solid information passed through TV.

Despite a couple of those videos were multiplatform games that were running on the 360 it was still nicely put together. I like how he added the sound clip "this is living" in the lair video. Guys walking through a waste land full of dead stuff says "this is living" It would of been better placed with the guy from Uncarted walking through those beautiful jungles saying "this is living" then people would think "hell yeah that looks awesome"

Thanks guys for your replies and I really appreciate them alot. You may like this commercial or hate it ...at the end, it's a matter of taste.

Regarding presenting this commercial video to Sony, to be honest with all of you.. I'm from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and I really took this commercial video to them and they presented it to Mr. Tim Stokes, the sales & marketing manager of SCEE ( for middle east market ) and he was impressed. However, he mentioned that Sony can't use this video for commercial purposes due to some legal issues ( Breaking Benjamin's song, Braveheart's soundtrack and third parties' games). So, I decided to give the gamers a chance to watch what impressed Sony Sales & Marketing manager of SCEE.

I mentioned MR. Tim Stokes' name in the beginning of this video. If you a member of any videogames' forum, please write a topic about this video so that alot of people will be able to watch it and who knows..maybe SCEI will consider it a part of their commercials one way or another.

He decided to submit..he was about to die.. then he realized that he has to keep fighting no matter what..This is how life goes .. what doesn't kill you makes you stronger..once he believed in that ( he said This is living), a savior came from nowhere.
