New Info on PS3 Lost Planet

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition for the PS3 will be released with a host of new features not previously available in Xbox 360 console version. These new editions include 16 multiplayer maps and additional playable characters each with their own unique set of abilities.

Whatever... Contributors are anal and dumb sometimes, but back on topic - does anyone think these features matter? Would these additions make it better than the 360 version or worth the extra year wait to play it on the PS3? I'm curious to see how well this sells considering a lot of PS3 owners might just think it's a 360 hand-me-down. Why should we care about a year-old game that wasn't that great to begin with?

Why would the 360 version even matter? Play the games on your system and stop worrying about what other people play

when capcom makes any annoucnment it reminds me of that movie "Not another Teen Movie" where the guys starts clapping and they tell he it's not the right time. Capcom seems to be the only one clapping while everyone else is telling him this isn't the right time.

i didnt hear much good news from Lost Planet (360) .. I heard it was overhyped and didnt sell much

I think it is overhyped, personal opinion, but it sold over a million copies anyways. It's definitely considered a hit and is often brought up as one of the awesome exclusives the 360 has over the PS3. Personally, I played it and didn't understand what all the fuss was about, and I'm INCREDIBLY surprised at how well it sold. To each their own, I suppose.

Which would be a nice addition over the 360 version. Speaking of, I don't see where all the hate some of you seem to have for this game. I have it for the 360 and while I liked the missions, I didn't care for the multiplayer side of the game. Is it one of my favorite games...no, but it is something different to play and I definatly would not say it sucked as some of the narrow minded souls above me have, just like Chromehounds, that game got a lot of bad rap, but I ended up playing that game alot. I just think this game will be a nice addition to the PS3 library. and anyone who has not played it before should. Will I buy it, probably not, I already own it on the 360, but if you don't own a 360, this will be a good game to pick up.

I remember when this game came out for 360 it was the greatest thing since sliced bread, but now that it's coming to PS3 its garbage. If uncharted or Heavenly Sword was coming to 360 everyone would be like ohh yeah like kool-aid. PS3 owners will play it if they find it interesting theirs already a good handful of games on the PS3 that will occupy allot of gaming time, so I think this game will be interesting to play just to fill in the void between games.
