Bethesda ships Oblivion GOTY edition for PS3

Bethesda Softworks, a ZeniMax Media company, announced today that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (GotY) for the PlayStation 3 has begun shipping to retail stores throughout North America.

I sold my copy a while back in anticipation of this new edition, but I had no issues with it. It ran great.

no idea if runs any better but Shivering Isle add-on more then worth it.

Actually had more fun playing the add-on then playing the full game, most likely due to the more unique storyline.

I think it runs better. You know how in Ninja Gaiden Sigma where you can be walking around in an open area and suddenly the screen stops for the loading. That's what happens with Oblivion on the 360 only more often. Plus loading takes a really long time along with saving and getting to the save file you want for the 360 version. Yet other than the loading and saving it looks the same and plays the same. Just have to ask which controller you like. If you hate random load times and longer than normal start up and saving then PS3 version for you.

It should be, the only difference is theres some add-ons for this one, so it should read the saved files.

There better be a PSN DL for this expansion. I have my oblivion already, I just need the Shivering Isles expansion.

I got my old edition last week from Brasil since I couldnt find it in Lebanon.Since this edition wont be available here then im not dissapointed.
