Koei Confirms PS3 Version Of Fatal Inertia For 2008 Release

Following up on today's in-depth feature discussing Japanese publisher/developer Koei, the firm has confirmed that the PlayStation 3 version of Unreal Engine 3 title Fatal Inertia is still in development, with a '2008' release date anticipated.

1 - Lol, M$ should have saved the money (sources have said 28 million) they used to buy time exclusitivy for this title on something else

Koei said it was due to UE 3 problems with the PS3 at the time...the problems have since been worked out (mostly by tools developed by Epic and Sony, in order to get UT3 running well)...

regardless...it would be funny if MS paid for it to be timed...but I don't think that is the case...Koei just made a crappy game...then pointed fingers at the PS3 and Epic for the game sucking, especially once the Too Human stuff started up again...

2 - I actually wouldn't be surprised if

some other exclusives, such as Splinter Cell, ended up migrating over as well. Microsoft Corp has a lot of money, but Microsoft's Entertainment division obviously can't pay up for very many titles considering how much money they owe. Referring to permanent exclusivity, not timed, which is obviously cheaper. I'm actually curious as to how much Sony is paying for 3rd party exclusives, or if they're even paying for them.

ms doesn't buy timed exclusives alright either they buy the game or not.in this case what happened was that as usual the developers had a hard time with the game on the ps3 and thats why they are releasing it months later just like with eternal sonata

And all i can say is GARBAGE .. Koei save yourself the money and just cancel the title until you have something that you can say actually competes with the IDEA of wipeout. Sup Vaan? Remember me? Told you Eternal Sonata was coming to PS3(HA HA HA!) But to say Fatal Inertia SUCKS DONKEY NUTZ is truly. TRUUUUULLLLY an understatement and I'm totally serious. The demo wasnt even on the 360 20 minutes after it got down downloaded! A COMPLETE WASTE of space on the hard drive.

You wont go 1 and if your brave 2 laps before quittinig the demo and deleting it off your Hard Drive.

To its credit, it looks great but hey just because Lions are beautiful and fun to look at, that dont mean we should go stickin our hand in the cage.

That one thing that erks me about these new consoles. Game look INCREDIBLE but far to often thats where the enjoyment comes to screaching halt.

You want a futuristic racer? Wipeout HD is your answer and a great one it is!!!!!!

i give them props for trying to diversify their portfolio with a new title from the myriad of rubbish rehash Dynasty warriors they call Games. but it seems the "SUCK" plague that victimized all there DW and SW games didn't spare this heap of trash. and it was initially a PS3 launch title then it got delayed and then it suddenly appeared on MSs console as Multiplat and then went off the map, and was then anounced as releasing this year for Xbox 360 and now it's releasing in 2008 for PS3. they might as well kill the POS because i'm not paying a dime. wipeout's King here,

seriously we should just boycott all the koei games because they should never be released in the US. keep it for the Japs because all of Koei's games have you guessed it Sucked major B@lls.

Game is garbage there shouldn't be any trouble at all. Hell ROBO BLITZ uses the Unreal tech and seems way more advanced and its an XBL arcade game. Seems like an XBOX 1 game in every way(need to learn NExt-Gen tech).
