That's almost as bad as when the details surfaced on the lack of any punishment for dying in Bioshock. It is pretty similar really. Any driver/shooter will make it through the race eventually with little effort.

I wouldn't call this broken gameplay seeing how you still can drive the car the proper way and get far better timings. Broken gameplay is like Lair where the proper way to play fails.

4 - The demo was rubbish.
It looks, feels and plays of a game 5 years old. Invisible barriers are a joke and have no place in a modern racing game even if its an arcade racer.
I would not even buy this if it were released as a budget game for $9.95.

Yes, but it doesn't make a difference. I'm very serious (I played the demo).

I thought the demo captured the spirit of the Sega Rally games very well - both arcade and Saturn versions, so I'm looking forward to buying this. It's nice to have a good arcade style racing game.
Many games have had this 'problem'. Pretty much every title in the Extreme G series allowed this on many tracks. Also, as JOLLY1 mentioned... wallriding in GT was possible, and is much more annoying in a simulation type of game than an arcade game.

8 - Broken Gameplay ? Er, NO
You can also do exactly the same thing in PGR and Gran Turismo. Doesn't mean they are broken either - it means the tracks are enclosed. Duh.
Dumb Australians with their dumb articles. The idea of the game is to finish FAST, not finish without pressing a button you dumb ****ing convict pricks !!

BTW... this game plays much better with the 360 racing wheel. I first played the demo with joypad and it took a lot to get used to it. With the wheel it's a much better experience and captures the spirit of the arcade game even better.
