They are. It's not because MS has a bad product or something that they aren't interested in. It's because MS is an American company. So, for example, the same goes for the auto industry. They tend not to buy American cars. They stray FAR away from 'imports'.

Reason why X360 is doing so bad is not because it's an american company who made it. It's because no one knows about it. The loyalty bull is just a myth. Even Sakaguchi (Blue Dragon, FF series) agrees that the marketing in Japan is bad. No one knows about it. They're shelf space is like at the back of the corner somewhere where very few people go. Or in some basement or something like that.

If you are trying to win customers, you don't release a half azz product and expect people to buy it. Xbots are the only ones that are OK with sending in their consoles for repairs and waiting for a month or 2. tell me a game in xbox 360 that can have 40 players like resistance ?? can you make server in xbox 360 like in warhawk ?? and play the game at the same time ??

elders scroll PORT for ps3 is much more superior than in xbox 360 graphics much better loadings 2x more fast

Ports if done well can be great, look at GRAW2 and Oblivion, if you didn't know any better you would think that ps3 was lead platform for them.

I'd rather have a port and be able to play the game, than not play the game at all.

Yes i disagree with ports when they are done poorly. EA im looking at you, but saying that i haven't brought an EA game in years.

Not really i paid for my ps3 for the exclusives it has, not the mulitplat ports.

I don't often buy mulitplat games only the big ones.

i play gears and Crackdown on my 360
i play Resistance, warhawk and heavenly sword on my ps3

the only multiplat games i will get are PES, DMC4, GTA4 on Ps3 and Assains Creed on 360

The only 'crappy' ports are from EA.

The PS3 has plenty of the good stuff on the way. In 1year from now it will be hard for xbots to find issues to attack, the games will speak for themselves. So enjoy your system bashing while you can as you will all be buying PS3s one day.

People can be gamers without being fanboys by owning just a single console. I only own 1 of the 3 current gen consoles because the other 2 systems don't offer me what I'm looking for... YET!

A lot of the fanboys you see are kids that can't afford all consoles so the whole my console is better than your console comes to light. Yet sometimes grown adults will have the argument. This is where the fanboy really does become an idiot, they are grown adults acting like children arguing about a toy!

just remember though, just because someone doesn't own all systems it doesn't automatically make them a fanboy. I can respect the other consoles and some of their games but it still doesn't warrent me to buy the system.

on topic... I wasn't much of a fan of Eternal Sonata when it was just a 360 release and even with the announced added characters I'm still not bothered even though I am a big fan of JRPG's.

MS is TRYING to appeal to a market that doesnt care to be catered to by a US Co. Point blank.

They are fighting a losing battle in Japan but thier efforts IMO are to be commended.

But at the end of the day Eternal Sonata will most likely sale way better on the PS3 once its released in JPN simply because Sony is in the region.

It is a game that was previously only available on one console, and now on another. It is the subtraction to a list that fanboys love to tout out.. the exclusives list, or visa versa, the exclusives lost list. Just another reason to NOT buy a 360, out of the many. PC's will always be here and are never going anywhere, a vast majority have pc's in their home. If one had the option just just simply buy the game.. or buy a brand new console plus the game.. well, thats 350 bucks back in their pocket. Or on the other hand, get a system that has games you cannot play on any other system, not on the pc or another console. That is the reason to buy a console, because it has games that you simply cannot get anywhere else, let alone something you already have sitting in your living room. For the ps3 fanboy, is another game that they can get, another reason to not buy a 360... easy peasy

If this game is multi plat; so what. ..don't get all hurt in the personnel attacks. To keep it really easy for you. A PS3 owner DOES NOT HAVE TO BUY A 360 TO PLAY THE BEST 360 GAMES. They are all available on the PC. A 360 DOES HAVE TO BUY A PS3 TO PLAY THE BEST GAMES on the system. You see what i did there, really easy to understand. Of course Microsoft is going to make money if all of their games are on both the 360 and PC, no one has ever disputed that. For you to bring that up over and over and over again, just shows how good you are at pleasing M$. The one thing it does do is DECREASE the possible install base of the 360. Its just nice to see that install base of the 360 laying stagnant, not going anywhere, and whether you like it or not, the fact that all good games for the 360 are available for the PC is na contributing factor. You see, the bottom line is this. Its a race to 100 million, as this board has so eloquently put out. This is a console war if you didn't realize. Thats what makes the people on this board so fanatic, they have taken sides and are blasting out ammo left and right. When releasing games on both platforms of PC and 360, is only making less people adopt the 360 system. Easy Peasy

Stupid, the difference is that we are talking about consolle industry and games, that is very different from the PC market that is sadly and forcedly a Microsoft monopoly and almost everyone of us have to buy a PC, there are not many that are opting for the (better) alternatives, but slowly the things are changing and i hope that someday there will be a healthy competition in the computer OS industry as in the console industry we have know. After i said this, it's clear that a 90% of computer owners have a PC, and for them who buy a PS3 is useless to buy also a 360 only for the 360 exclusives that are almost all on the pc, only who want the special console features( and has money to throw) will buy also a 360. I knew a friend that wanted badly to play the DMC 3, and he thought seriously to buy a ps2 for this,even if he doesn't like very much to play consoles, but when DMC was released also for the pc, buy buy ps2, he bough the game and played it on the pc. Did you get it? It's obvious that a PC game is only better for Microzozz, but for its PC department, it hurt very much the sales of the 360, because a lot of people have a pc, and will not buy a console for games that are out also for PC. It hurt Microzozz's Xbox department. For the ps3 is different, because the main exclusives (and generally the best ones) will never be out for a PC, so you have to buy it if you consider yourself a true gamer and don't want to miss some( or better a lot) of the best games of this generation. Think blade before speaking....just think.

1stly bladestar has forgotten to mention the ps2 and how the playstation devision is doing better than the xbox devision which is what it boils down to. bladestar was spot on about people not being able to play the latest xbox come pc games on pc because of the specs needed but i disagreed with what he said about pc gamers not really caring about gaming consoles as coming from an amiga/atari background many peeps of my gen were serious pc (computer)gamers before being serious console gamers. Ill add that I agree with SmokeyMcBlunt on the fact about SOME people not getting a 360 because a lot of the games that are good on the 360 can be baught for the pc plus most of those are 1st/3rd person shooters which are normally better on the pc because of mouse n keyboard controls and pc graphics.
