im gonna put this to the test when i get home.

edit: this is true!! i called my girlfriend and had her turn on my playstation and i am playing lair at work. the analog stick is on invert so its hard to play. ill post pics and vid when i get off at 8 pm est. if anyone else can do so i recommend doing so toprove this is real.

If there is no analog control for the dragon and the PSP does not have motion sensing, how would you play it on your PSP? Am I missing something?

5.2 - It looks unsupported...

I mean, unless they are going to release a patch to allow a PSP based control scheme, you can't fully play the game like this. It's a great idea, but without motion controls (or a suitable replacement for the PSP)it's largely novelty. Still damn cool tho.

lair will be the best for toilet play ever.
and yes i mainly use my psp on the toilet in case you wondered.

How does this work? How can the PSP handle a PS3 game? Does the PSP connect to the PS3 via a Sony network connection, then the PS3 powers the game and basically the image is just transmitted to the PSP?

SHAME ON THEM , not Factor5 .. to STUPID Reviewers.. they couldnt control dragon so give the entire game low score...( even a STUPID girl can play LAIR with some training )

it need just some practice.. then u HAVE a REAL dragon in YOUR F***in HAND...

I have tested it works but of course its laggy cause your streaming. but u can control the dragon with the analog stick. And yes it only works woth Lair i tried warhawk but it doesnt work. its a great start tho

Lair works, other games and demo do not.

The PS3 is still doing all the grunt work, and the video and control data is being streamed to the PSP, and then back to the PS3 and then back to the PSP. It's laggy like Halo said, but it's playable.

Can't land (no R2/R1), u can't do side slams (no 6axis), and the analog stick is a inverted flight control like old airplane games.

This is may have been a Factor 5 experimentation with remote play i think, an old piece of code they forget to take out. or decided not to take out. I dont think they expect gamers to find this, and since the control is not complete and the gameplay is laggy, that's why they didn't mention it.

But i am glad its there, it opens up a windows of opportunity for the PSP now.

it's not laggy at all, hit your home button on the psp go to settings select response to 5 and it plays smooth

and side slams work for me just tap the analog stick to the sides...

I just tried it. I can't believe those morons didnt advertise this!! Just set up remote play and start up lair like normal. You use the analog stick, but beware there is some lag, and getting used to. Its sweeet and I hope more developers start using this. Imagine Warhawk on PSP, eh.

27 - LAIR IS AWESOME

Here is the deal. Reviewers dont take their time with games. It is not their fault because they have to review all the games and it does not leave a lot of time to really get into the game and find out what makes it great.

First of all I was frustrated at the start but the controls started to become second nature. I only had trouble on the spotlight level and other than that I was having a blast. Also the reviews left out the best part of the game which are in the amazing story which keeps you wanting to play. Its like reading a great book and not being able to put it down. Also the score for the game is awesome and you can tell a lot of effort was put into it. The graphics are breath taking at some parts. I can see where reviewers were coming from but if they had spent a little more time with it they would not have missed out on an amazing experience.

Also if remote play does work with no lag and they can get the control scheme right I could play this game all day trying to get the golden medals.

Also me and EZCHEEZ WILL OWN ANYONE IN WARHAWK. ADD me as a friend on psn if you want to tryout for the A5 (Anonymous 5 Clan)!!

28 - Just as I was hoping

Few months ago I was saying the the PSP2 should be used as a Ps3 controller/display to be able to use the Ps3 around the home.

If Lair is an experimentation into that possibility then the futre is going to be obvious. Now the future PSP needs dual analogue sticks and if possible a six-axis function then remote play/use of the Ps3 will be a definite.

Likely that developers will voluntarily add options to remote play like Factor 5 has with the current PSP.
