I has not frozen on me. it did back in the beta but not on the retail so far.

The only problem I have encountered lately/Today was that I couldn't get in the Sony Ranked Servers and if you go to the PlayStation Underground forums / Warhawk forums you'll find that is the most common frustration with the game. I haven't seen threads about freezes yet.

The article shows an image as the proof. That image is a snapshot of a google search. Worst of all, the snapshot cuts off the search field and does NOT show what keywords were used to google and get that result.

If you googled "BioShock problem forum", you would also get all sorts of forum posts complaining about problems. That's how much of a proof the article has.

1.4 - No problems here...just great gameplay

I have been playing daily hours at a time from the time I downloaded it and have not had one issue. The only time I had a minor problem was when I joined a NON-SCEA channel and one game I was in, my controls were kinda sluggish. Was probably a connection along the way between my PS3 and whoever was hosting the game. I don't know if it is the connection I have or what... But this does bring up the memory of all the fuss brought up when the PS3 first came out with people saying it bricked up on them and most of those rumors turned out false. At any case, if you join a non-SCEA game channel, you are also at the mercy of the hosting PS3...could be connections speeds or them just leaving the forum which causes you to lose your connection to that game.

its news in the sense that this could be a widespread issue. Best part about reporting it as news is for the people that have had this problem could know that they are not alone. Also this will get to sony if enough people have had it and issue a fix.

However those people that are freezing could be anything. Anywhere from server lag too maybe a faulty disc.

Yea, this was an issue during the beta but even then it seemed like they had it ironed out by the last week... anyhow, it hasn't frozen on me or any of my buddies at all yet.

It probably has something to do with the type of connection/router those players have.

First day, I played 2 rounds after DL/Install, then went to bed. That afternoon after work, I started it up and the first 2 rounds froze up about 10 seconds into the round (the only 2 disconnects in my stats). Since then, it's been fine. Going to put it to the test this weekend.

Yes it did. Quite a lot actually but I bought the disk and I have yet to see any lag much less any freezing.

Its a great game and anyone on the fence about it shouldn't listen to this freezing report because I have yet to see it happen.

I only have my experience to go by.

it froze after a match when it was tallying up scores/rankings
had to turn the ps3 off then on last night, haven't seen a problem since after playing for 5 hours today

thats all and check your online speed.
Speedtest.net is a good site.
Check your own latency and speeds.
I had to call comcast and complain about my connection before.

I had it freeze on my second game while I was connecting to the game, so i thought i was in for some disappointment,. But many games later, nothing.

I thin the most important fact is I have yet to see any lag, even in 32 player dogfight. Now that is impressive!

This has not happened to me but I guess its possible. I have been playing non-stop for hours. It's normal to have some issues when a game first ships, so I don't even know what the big deal is. I am sure in a week or too any issues will be ironed out. These people should also check their internet connections and make sure its fast enough.

I haven't experience it. Not that it will never happen in the future. I got lagged out a couple times due to bad connection from the host but overall this game is a total chaos and fun experience.

when you pay $50 a year for online, you'd want lag free service. Lag free and no freezes in my Warhawk experience though, it's just pure adrenaline fun. Just like Resistance.

It froze on me once the day I got it (during gameplay). And twice today (both was not during gameplay but during the online main menu). Yes, the freezing is a nuisance. But, this game is just so fun, I can forgive the hassle. :)

17 - I have played 2 days straight...and no freezes...i was in the beta...

And in the beta it would freeze up all the time...but they kind of fixed in towards the end of the beta...but there still were some freezes...So i know if they are some freezes now...then they will be able to fix it in the next patch....believe me they will fix any issues...we might be seeing freezes, since there are now a lot of people in warhawk, when it freezes it is probably because the server you were on crashed. The sony servers have very good connections so you will not see freezes on them...but if you set up your own server or warhawk game...you might see a freeze.

OK, Lair is one game, and if you bothered reading some comments, most have had 1 freeze or so happen to them. Warhawk is the funnest game I've played in quite sometime and pretty much everyone with a ps3 will agree. Just because it froze once or twice doesn't mean sh*t. Every online game, ps2,ps3,xbox,360,pc is bound to freeze from time to time. At least we aren't paying extra for it.

I got the same problem. I tried for 2 days now, and still can't get it registered. For 30 mins. straight, all I see on the screen is "scanning please wait". Oh how I hate that sentence. My friend has his running. So he told me to try registering my headset on his PS3. If it works, then he's gonna come to my place and register it himself, incase I'm doing something wrong. Funny thing is, I tried hooking it up with my cell, seeing if it would register. And nope, couldn't locate the headset. :(

make sure you follow the instructions carefuly. make sure when you press the big button (not sure what they call it) you hold it for 5 seconds (you'll know its on the right track if the light is a solid blue, make sure its not blinking) once the light is solid, click scan for headset on your PS3 then type in your passcode (which you'll find in the instruction booklet) and it should register in less than 10 sec. good luck guys.

Ok bro. I got mines working. I got confused a bit. I didn't know the friggin' blue light had to be on continuous. I thought there was only 2 modes, the on/discover mode (blinking on and off) and the off mode (blue light off). :P

yeah, it happen to me a while ago when I tried to register a motorola headset. you gotta press the button for like 5 secs for it to register.

and yes, L3 is for talking. But remember ppl, keep it under 10 sec. (according to the manual)

It freezes up on me all the time now. The first day I downloaded it, it worked like a charm and i played it all day. Now it seems like it freezes on me like 2 times a day.....almost makes me not want to play it, but then i remember how much fun it is to play and just reset my ps3 and start it up again. I really wish they would fix this soon though.....my patience only works so much.

It froze on me once, and that about 30 matches (4-5 hours). Its not like your playing a big campaign where you hafta start all over again, just reboot the ps3 and in 30 seconds your back to where you were. No biggie. Really, buy the game. I'm not the kinda guy to try to sell a product, but damn, Warhawk is a blast.
