Warhawk early impressions -- say goodbye to your life

Warhawk hit the PlayStation Store yesterday and the positive reviews have been pouring in. Our review is coming as well, but in the meantime PS3fanboy.com wanted to post there early thoughts on Incognito's impressive shooter. Even after there relatively short play time(5 hours), they feel confident saying that this is one of the most addictive online experiences you can have on the PS3 -- or any console for that matter.

It's fun, surprsingly though only about 15k people have played on ranked servers... That will prolly change when more ppl start getting the Blu-ray disc.

Does anyone know if the stats are posted on a website? Kinda like Bf2s.com for BF2?

5 - Way better than i thought it would be

It's really really fun. I just got it as was really just screwing around trying to learn the controls and map layout and got third place in my first match. I'm so glad i didn't cancel my preorder now.

Holy Crap! WOWHAWK is so awesome!

Everybody in the options menu, under flight, choose "pro-flight"
its harder but once you get used to it OMG!

Honestly if you havnt played this game and you are into online shooters or flight games i would seriously consider buying a ps3 for this. There is really no experience like warhawk on other console right now. If you don't wanna get 1 find a friend who has a ps3 and play the split screen. My buddy did that during the beta and guess what. He has a ps3 now. Warhawk rules

800MB is for the download, which is a seriously big time compressed file, only to make the download fast.

The blu ray retail version is allot larger, but loads the maps to your hardrive so you have almost no wait in loading up games.

Where you would get together with 2-3 friends and have a few things planned, but then you play Warhawk and then at some point you look outside and are surprised it's light out.

we pulling a all nighter on this game saturday night. non stop multiplayer action, and is it me, but we experienced no lag or jaggies at all at least on the downloadable version. This is gears of war for ps3 owners hands down.
