New DBZ Series to be Exclusive to PS3, showing at TGS - Rumor

Apparently an insider on the Atari forums named "Jipang" (who has been correct on these rumors many times before) has found out that Dimps (the developers of the original three Budokai games) is developing an all new DBZ series for PS3. He even goes on to say that an all new Naruto and Gundam series is underway too and that they all may appear at TGS.

Yes, the original Xbox had DBZ: Sagas and there wil be sone coming to the 360 as well. Even though I am a DBZ freak (hence my name "Sayai jin") those games are usually not that great, well I mean they are all pretty much the same. Games like this are not usually even worth the "exclusive" tag. Not like games like KZ, Halo, etc. DBZ games are usually bubblegum games.

nice news! i cant wait to play a DBZ game on ps3, cant imagine the nice effects! i cant wait for that. yesterday i played folklore, and i said to my girlfriend, nice effects, how cool would it be when DBZ come to ps3 with such nice effects. bang one day later, this nice rumour.

i hope it's not another fighting game, cause we have those plenty... i remember playing an RPG/action styled DBZ on the gameboy advance, so i would want to see a DBZ RPG maybe with turnbased combat for the PS3.

Budokai 3 was by far one of the greatest. Too bad they cut that series and moved on with the crappy, same combo feature that is Tenkaichi. I prefer Shin Budokai for the PSP than Tenkaichi.

It should be like the Half-life Mod Earth Special Forces. Go to youtube to see what I mean, the levels are huge and up to 16 people could fight at once online. You could add bots and everything, the game was perfect and FUNimation shut them down because the game was better then anything they could put out at the time. Here is a video clip.

12 - Why are people still obsessed...

With dbz its like old news anime, when there are so many new impressive animes. Even as a classic i still dont get its popularity, well i guess its just like how people continued to play diablo after passing it more than 3 times.

On the other hand i would love to see a good Gundam seed game since most games still focus on Gundam 79 and most of the cool factor that the mecha design had was lost a long time ago.

This is a great rumor. DBZ as a fighter would be great on the PS3. It doesn't get old to me. With the PS3 they can make it even closer to the cartoon.

I wouldn't be mad if they made a RPG from Inuyasha also. That would be tight.

I dunno about kids only. I am 25 and i have played and own EVERY dbz game that was on ps2. I do like the tenkaichi series and usually get them on opening day. This may not be for everyone, but for someone like me, it's certainly something i'll buy.

no surprise here since dbz budokai , budokai 2, budokai 3 were dome of the best games on ps2 ( they were very popular on ps2 ). no surprise here. they tried budokai on wii but i heard it sucked ( nvr tried it so i dont know ). dude i loved those budokai games ( except for tenkaichi )
