Mafia 2 unveiled - First five screens here

2K Games will publish Mafia 2, a sequel to the original Mafia title (that sold more than two million copies worldwide no less) that helped popularise the gangster genre.

Featuring a deep mobster-driven narrative and both behind-the-wheel and on-foot action, Mafia 2 "is the sequel fans have been clamoring for" says 2K. CVG bloody hopes so.

Well you can count me as a HUGE ass mafia fan and those screen are even better then i expected. Way to go just deliver a as good game as mafia 1 was and im happy happy joy joy.

Mafia (PC) was a great game IMO, the only irritating thing about the game was the GODDAMN F*KING RACE in chapter 5..

Anybody remember this race.. MY GOD it was difficult and annoying. hehe

Godfather disgrace made by EA. Sorry but this genre is already too heavily polluted by the same style and time period. I am bored too death with these half ass GTA clones. The original Mafia was a good game 5 years ago but today the the market for 1930's era gangster games is saturated. Too much similarity in visual style and theme. Please make something new that hasn't been touched before instead of sequels that show up 5 years later.

hope L.A. NOIRE achieves the same type of vibe i got in looking at the screens.1930's,throw some classical and jazz in there,do some hits on the enemy.

looks good so far.get the controls and fun there and you got a buyer.

Ohh my god, I am a huge fan of Maifa back on Xbox and it was amazing, I loved the game... even the ending was priceless.

And now Mafia II with some amazing screen shots, wow I'll consider this one a must have for me, I just can't believe how good those shots look.

If it plays anywhere near As good As it looks I will be in heaven.
