Worldwide PS3 releases for the week of August 20th

That's right, GRAW 2 is the first true world-wide game release on the PS3. And it doesn't stop here. Come September we'll see this happen more and more often. Heavenly Sword and Warhawk (the downloadable version, at least) will be obtainable within days of each other.

After August, invasion of PS3 releases will start. Lair, Heavenly Sword and Warhawk for the first round and Haze, Uncharted and Ratchet & Clank for the next.

Add BioShock, Mass Effect, Halo 3, UT3, Assassin's Creed, Rock Band, COD4, Metroid P3, Mario Galaxy, Stranglehold, GH3 and more... for all consoles and we have one helluva gaming season / gaming marathon!

2.1 - I can't recall a list that good in years

There are just too many games coming out. The ones you listed are mostly exclusives. What about the ton of crossplatform titles that have a chance of lighting the wallet as well? I have roughly 24 titles on my list between now and 2008.

I am even considering picking up a Wii for Metroid and Mario Galaxy.
