All PS3 are region free,and will hav all lanuages included on Bluray disc(meaning costs should be less as packaging for different regions won't be needed).

I think the statement means something different, read it again:

"Although it is entirely possible that only a PS3 version is coming out in Japan, given the fact that the Xbox 360 isn't really selling like sushi in the Land of the Rising Sun."

I guess there will be no Japanese 360 version, but there will be English versions on 360/PS3. Just because 360 has no large fanbase in Japan to sell enough to make up the costs for a special Japanese version.

is Region free unlike PS3 games all of it is region free god you gamesr don't read anyfacts anymore from any websites and plus they might change there minds over here as well making it exclusive for the PS3 in the U.S knowing that RE serie's has been on exclusively for the playstation and sometimes on the Nintendo

so really if there going to make it exclusively in Japan thier going to do it here to.

Isn't this game being made in Japan?!?! So why would they they have "costs" for a "special" Japanese version on the 360 when it's a JAPANESE GAME?!?!?!?! Besides the PS3 is region free so it doesn't really make that much of a difference really.

The Xbox360 isn’t popular in Japan so they have "NO" reason to make a version of it. Even if all people there buy biohazard 5, it will only be 40.000 copies sold. It’s more expensive to port the game to the 360. It wouldn’t make sense. It will cost more money than it will make for CAPCOM.
I think it’s a great idea...if I was CAPCOM I'd do the same thing...no reason to sell the 360 version in a country that won't buy it.
If the rumor is true that will be both beneficial to CAPCOM and MS. I hope its true since it’s impractical to release an Xbox 360 version in Japan. That’s common sense since Xbox 360 even if its a great system, is a flop in Japan and will never be a hit in Japan even if they include free porn movies and free AV idol one night stand due to there love for Sony and Nintendo brand. CAPCOM is stupid if they will also release a Xbox 360 version in Japan since it’s a flop and will incur major loses. Even in the top ten most wanted game in Japan the PS3 version is what the Japan want. A PS3 version or a Wii is more feasible. But still Resident evil 5 will be release on both Xbox and PS3 in Europe and USA. There’s no need to have war about this Ps3 fan or not. Hence no 360 version in Japan.
Also, on different forums there are rumors that RE5 will be announced as a PS3 exclusive come TGS. These rumors are due to the latest podcast by 1up who state that they have heard this from different sources in Japan. What do you think?
And before you begin with that “well we still have Live which is way better” crap…. Sony is providing a unified online system. Its up to the developers to customize it the way they want to. Xbox live is restrictive. It puts a barrier in the way that the online system can expand. Microsoft is a control freak and that’s what Xbox Live is. It’s a controlled system for online play.

I would prefer that Sony does a simple system and make the developers customize it the way they want to, that way every game gets an online network that works for the game. This way the online game play can expand, as the developers want it to, not the way that Sony wants it to.

The PS3 is going to break records again. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to get they’re head checked. Sony said they will have 1 million units at launched and no doubt they will have several hundred thousand in Japan and it will break the record of the PS2.

THe last time I checked. the X Box 360 has sold 40 X Box 360s in Japan which is horrible in gaming history. I can guarentee this. The PS3 will oversell the 360. It does'nt matter how exprensive the PS3 is. It will sell. I want the console bad! The PlayStation 3 is the future! You got voice chat AND video chat while IN-GAME!! DVD moves, Blu Ray moves! Buddylist! Also I think that button in the middle of the PS3 controller has the same feature as the 360 feature. To go to the menu while in-game. Killer apps! best looking console! most power! most speed! best graphics! Backwards compatibility! PS1 and PS2 games! Indeed the PS3 will be the bezt! It's going to be the ULTIMATE entertainment package!

There is alot of reason as debated over and over by fanboys like you why the 360 doesn't farewell. IMO it's all about the games but that can be debated(not going to get into it).

Remember Japanese are known for thier cheap attempts at "Kamikaze" during the end of WWII. They are loyal even if they know they are loosing the war. Them US SonyFanboy Breeds are just as the same. We all know why the x-360 is not faring well over there and its not becasue of the Hardware.....

I've own every system made besides the Xbox-360, PS3 and Wii, I will make my decision wether to buy 2 for the price of one later on this year. While my comments may sound fanboyish, it is just my 2cents.

I'm sure you would believe I'm all about the 360 when in fact I still have and play my PS2 and xbox as of right now. Gamecube its been 3 years since I've touched it. There is alot of stupidity on here and I happen to have an opinion too about either console.
I'm a true game the console doesn't matter as long as it has great games I wanna play. If the graphics are comparable then I must go with the lower-priced system. I know what the Xbox-360 can do and I happen to like its direction. I know what PS has been doing the last 10 years..and yes It's been dominant. The PS3 will be mine just not anytime soon (only because the library of games after 10 years). I don't worship the PS3 tho like some people on here. MS is on its second generation console and is a new challenger thats going the right directions. I like change ...

After all I'm just being a "smart Consumer." Sorry if I'm not japanese.
