PS3 Exclusive first party titles officially dated Europe

Today, the official release dates for upcoming playstation three games has been made official. The game are Lair, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Eye of Judgement, Folklore and have all been dated for Europe.

Official release dates:

12/09/07 - Warhawk (Incl. Headset Bundle)
19/09/07 - Heavenly Sword
10/10/07 - Folklore
24/10/07 - Lair
24/10/07 - The Eye of Judgement

Something more important. Wasn't Warhawk supposed to be a simultaneous release? I only say that because Warhawk is on track for an August 28th release date in the "states". There is something wrong with this. Has anyone realized this?

not everybody is into card games. even though it looks nice but leave that to the yugi-oh(however it's spelled) crowd. the game is not a potential system seller, so it gets no hype.

that list right there are the only games i hear people talk about on the ps3, really thats it for sony in 2007.

I think Eye of Judgement will be better and more popular than most think

its gonna do well

and if it gets popular like pokemon n yugioh.... this could be the next big card game... and everyone will want a ps3 for this game

You have no clue how much kids invest in these card games. I remember when Pokemon first came out, people would buy these packs for upwards of $20 dollars, and trade the rare ones for as much as $500 dollars or more. Don't underestimate a game simply because kids are playing it.

I think Warhawk should have bumped up their release, it's coming out too close to Heavenly sword, and that could be a big mistake.

Slight chance it might get over shadowed with Heavenly Swords hype. I for one can't wait for the Sword to drop.

And if they would have moved up Warhawk I would have just downloaded it while I continue to wait for the sword. But now I think I'll just wait for Heavenly Sword and skip Warhawk altogether.

I had a feeling something was wrong about these dates. For example, Warhawk's official release date is August 28th in the U.S. and it is supposed to be a simultaneous release. So these dates just don't add up. Check it out through the link.

27 - Eye of Judgement is not getting attention because...

Look at how experts play card games. They play their cards really FAST. They just throw out the cards, one after another, so fast that you have to admire their speed and how fast their brains work.

They are not gonna wait for Eye of Judgement to "materialize" cards into 3D virtual creatures and then for the creatures to fight each other. That takes up too much time. That is not how card games work. Eye of Judgement is gonna looks cool for ten minute, but soon the gimmick will wear off. Card players are gonna realize: "heck, this thing is too slow!"

Of course, if Eye of Judgement just skips the 3D animation to speed up the game, then what's the point of having the 3D animation in the first place? If you just think about it, think about how real people play card games, then you'll realize the whole thing is a gimmick and impractical.

Read the previews next time before flapping your gums... Putting the game on the console allows you to add additional layers of complexity that would make tracking the game and scoring by hand a nightmare, never mind granting you access to the enormous pool of available players on the PSN anytime you want to play.
