Jaffe Still Loyal to Sony: Talks PS3, PS4 and God of War 3

GamePro sat down with famed God of War creator David Jaffe and Twisted Metal mastermind Scott Campbell at their new Salt Lake City studios to discuss the PS3 (not to mention PS4, and PS5), review scores, God of War sequels, casual games, and the current state of the industry. While Jaffe is now independent, his loyalties still remain with Sony.

Can't wait to play those 3 games they are developing. I really hope they stay sony exclusive even after these three. Those exclusives seem to be getting less and less so the more the merrier. And GOW3 on PS3 = orgasm

I can't wait to see his PS3 games. They will be stupid crazy. Here's why,

1. He knows what he's doing with the PS3. He's been with Sony since they were making Sega Genesis games.

2. He doesn't have anyone telling him what kind of game he can make and what he can or can not put in it.

I respect David Jaffe like a respect Cliffy B. His honesty is commendable. I especially relate to him when he talks about why he decided to make his own game studio. I love how these developers are not console fanboys to the point of them not even touching a competing console to play. BTW, Cliffy B, shame on you for not sending him Gears of War when he sent you GoW2.

He said he is going to get the port of Twisted Metal sorted out for the PS3, and then make 3 exclusive PS3 games. Awesome!

Btw Calling all Cars IS worth the money, dunno how anyone can say otherwise. It's a great party game! Lots of fun!

Looking forward to finding out about these new games. Lots of positive stuff for Sony over the last few days.

Lets hope twisted metal rules when it comes out in 09 and lets hope these guys can bring us some different styles of games that havent been used or seen b4! Thats what sony wants to do! They want to make different types of games unlike MS who seems to only make shooters
