UK Retailers Push Back Warhawk Release Date

Several UK retailers have now pushed back the release date of the highly anticpated title Warhawk, fuelling speculation that the game will be delayed with some confirming the title has been removed from their computer list of upcoming games.

This comes after retailers in the US also pushed back their own release dates. The confusion however remains as some retailers' date differs to others.

Do you people use any intelligence when approving the story? The first version you rejected because you called it fake. Now your rejecting this as a Duplicate - when i've provided more sources, and basically satisfied your requirements, now its a duplicate?

It's not a duplicate because the other FAILED APPROVAL.

There is no reason for this not to be approved.

YOU CALL THIS NEWS : Well Ive been looking on sites and they say 28th august for usa september for uk release: NOW IF ALL THE SITES SAID NOVEMBER Then u can say it might be news : but saying it will be delayed cause a few site's say it. Means nothing, You are scare monger finding anything to have a go at ps3 just because you heard the news of lair being delayed. You thought! oH i can use this to as a poor excuse TO HAVE A GO AT PS3. I can look around and say the same about the 360 and post it but i wont sink as low as you!

Official release date is/was August 28th worldwide release. These retailers had it as that date until recently.

It's also rumoured that several US retailers have pushed back the date aswell. The same thing happened with Lair last week.

Get used to it, I think a lot of Sony games will get pushed back this year. Socom and gt5 are slated for this year yet we have seen next to nothing of either game which is odd for nearly complete games. MS has the upper hand for 07 but Sony has a TON of AAA games for 08 so it’s all about holding ground by making the 07 holiday line up look better than it really is. By pushing key tittles back into 08 they have the chance to gain a ton of ground against MS who has pulled out most of its big guns this year. MS is in trouble in 08 unless it has some aces up its sleeves that we have yet to see.

The 360 has alot of good games for 2008,

They only showed this years titles at E3, while Sony only showed next years titles.

Well hows about this. From what "I" have seen the ps3 line up is looking a hell of a lot stronger than the 360 line up in 08. What does xbox have to go against metal gear next year? Or final fantasy? Lost oydessy comes out this year not next. What about Killzone? Halo 3 is coming out this year not next.

as to which U.S. retailers pushed their dates back? I did a quick search of Gamestop/EB and Amazon and still see the date as August 28th.

A delay to November 30th is an xbox fanboy's dream, but it's just not going to happen. The game went through an extensive beta in May-June and it was in great shape then, with no game-breaking issues. Anyone who particpated in the beta can tell you that the game did not need an additional 5 months of development (July-August-September-October -November).

I'd been wondering why Sony's official website had their upcoming PS3 games listed as:

Madden 08 - Aug. 14
Ghost Reecon Advanced Warfighter 2 - Aug. 21
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 - Aug. 28
Dynasty Warriors: GUNDAM - Aug. 28
Lair - Sept. 4
Heavenly Sword - Sept. 12

Warhawk was originally dated for Aug. 28, but when Sony never ever put it on their "coming soon" list, I started to get suspicious a long time ago. But oh well, this is no surprise; haven't you heard? Delaying games is "all the rage" right now....
