At least Halo is a proven fantastic bombshell of a $$$maker.

Heavenly Sword is..............a game that might be good?

And they're already betting it'll be a 3 game franchise?

The truth is Halo is the greatest multiplayer console experiences I've had ever, bar none. The fact is that when you get down to it, nothing still compares to the innovation and true greatness of it's multiplayer.Halo 2 was released years ago. I've yet to see ANYTHING, on ANY system rival it's multiplayer options/lobby/just plain awesomeness.

Now you've got me off topic and defending Halo from the likes of a turd.

That's what Too Human was announced as when it was announced...ages ago.

Not a bad idea for movies but might be a stretch for games. Hard to sink that much money into development in an untested product...

I don't doubt the developers can come up with some good ideas, but are they willing to continue working hard on the game? Many developers become lazy after the first game, knowing their second game will sell well whether it's great or not..

They did a lot for high quality cut scenes and a cinematic feeling. A sequel is a far better idea than the rumored multiplayer mode in my eyes. But it shouldn't be a pure recycling of the existing engine / artworks.

That's good. I really have high hopes for this games since it follows GOW's formula. I hope the first game won't flop because it will be hard to play the sequels if you didn't enjoy the first one. I had the same feeling with Devil may Cry before. First one did good which urge me to get the second one, which flopped. I'm glad they got their act together for the 3rd one. So here's hoping that HS turns out to be the next God of War franchise.
