1 - I really doubt its a PS3 exclusive

after they've already said that its multi-platform I think they probably meant timed-exclusive.

They never came out and said that Beautiful Katamari wasn't an exclusive. Haze developers have already confirmed that Haza is a multi-platform game.

Beautiful Katamari was also said to be multiplatform and now it is a 360 exclusive. Haze was built on the PS3 so there's a high chance that it could be exclusive. As for UT3, it could be a PS3 console exclusive and still be on PC (I haven't heard much on the 360 version of UT3 so this is just reasonable speculation)

it has not been confirmed if the screens were from the 360 version or the PC/PS3, however, coming from an official Xbox Magazine. Some people were quick to say it is the 360 version. Who really knows what EPIC is up to ?

All i know now about the graphics is that, it will feature Gears of War PLUS graphics so it will be amazing across all platforms.

Although I'd like it to be UT3, I'd settle for Haze. I know Ubi doesn't want their game to get lost amidst Halo and Killzone is no sure thing, so why not release it on PS3 exclusively. It's definitely Haze.

All mention of the 360 version has been dropped from latest PR, and there's that special announcement regarding the game at E3.

And whether or not Haze had previously been reported as multi-platform is purely academic - the exclusivity announcement overrides its previous platform status.

I am sure its Haze not UT3, Epic went to 360 because of the success of Gears and the market it created, they certainly dont want to destroy that by now making it exclusive to PS3. It would be a flip-flop. And UT3 is first and foremost a PC game.

HAZE has never ran on a 360 so this is no surprise. Every video we have seen so far has been running on a PS3 and they haven't even started a 360 build. It may come to the 360 next year but for now it is exclusive.

It's definatly Haze no doubt. And yes Haze was mentioned last year that it was going multiplatform. So this is now the exclusivity. But why all of a sudden?? Because of the PS3 price drop. So expect MGS4 to also be PS3 exclusive. And a lot of u are mentioning that UT3 will be PC first??? Well have fun buying that 8800GTX to run the game well.

They have said several times that they "may go to other platforms"...but the important part is that it was never Kojima that said it...

the article you are refering to seemed to be referring to the MGS franchise...and possibly not specifically MGS4...they have done that several times, where the game would get sort of revamped and ported to another system...and it ALWAYS sold like crap, despite getting similar reviews to the original sony platform release...

Its funny how so many 360 guys want that game to jump ship so much...yet everyone knows that pretty much nobody will buy the game on that platform...there are some that will...but the people that want that game probably already have, or plan on getting a PS3...if it goes to the 360, a few will buy it, and the 360 people will chant "we got another one"...but I think Konami understands that this game will probably be no different in terms of sales on other platforms than any of the past games in the franchise...

The 360 will most likely still get a version of the game...i would say definitely not at the same time...although the next few days would probably be the biggest place for us to find out for sure...

as far as UT3...there have been several recent "issues" between the online content of the game between MS and Epic...I wouldn't be so quick to say "its been confirmed in the past"...Fatal Intertia has done the exact same stuff recently...nothing is certain until the game goes gold...I agree though that haze seems the most likely to be announced as an exclusive...just pointing out that nothing is set in stone...

Lets be real people. Gears of War sold 4 million plus units- UT3 is coming to 360. Also I just want to point out that as of now the only UT3 version confirmed for this year is the pc version.

HAZE is a possibility and I really hope not because I HATE playing fps on playstation due to the controller but then again for all we know it could be beautiful katamari. We'll find out either today or by the end of the week first is microsoft I'm ready to see this.

1. MGS4 may not go muliplatform right from their mouth
2. I don't believe that Epic is making a PS3 only game, they're a small company and they're working on UT3 right now and then will prob start working on GOW2, where are they going to find the time to make a new IP?

about Gears2

epic said in the recent oxm that they are no where near ready to start working on Gears2.

they stated that they are not any where close to being done with the 1st gears.

but you are right, they have to start thinking about what they are to do next with it...it is inevitable gear2 will happen.

but i thought it was interesting they would say that. what could possibly be left to do with Gears1? be cool if they made some more co-op campaigns or something.

edit: well i guess the story above this story answered that, lol. it is more single player...which i am sure will continue the ability to co-op.

oxm guys went to epic and played the 360 version and they were told that UT was being made on the 360 first and retooled for the other platforms...
well, at least the PC version. it is an xbox mag...so PS3 was not mentioned.
anyway, i didn't say it...Epic did and it is in the current issue...which the cover of the magazine is a picture of...UT.

It's going to be Haze and that sucks because UT3 would be a big blow to the PC/360. UT3 has been in development for PC/360 for a long time UT3 is a PC esque game it's never going to be exclusive for the PS3.

yeah I agree that UT3 would have been a big blow but if I'm not mistaken (and correct me if I am) UT3 was first announced as a PS3 console exclusive and on PC. It wasn't until months l8tr that the 360 was added to the mix.
