Stranglehold PS3/PC Versions Delayed

According to GameStop.com the 360 version comes out on August 6th. The PS3/PC versions come out on August 20th. Previously all versions were slated for an August 6th release.

Damnit again, I was looking forward to this. All the developers seem to be jumping on the delay bandwagon for PS3, which is really annoying for me as a PS3 owner. Atleast there is some reason, most likely bcause they need time to bundle the movie into the PS3 version

Amazon says they are all coming Sep 2, 2007

Walmart says Aug 6th for PS3/X and Aug 15 for PC

Target says Aug 17th for X and PC and...oh no...Aug 8 for PS3

ad infinitum....

Midway..by the way...just says Summer 2007 (which is nice since their May 2005 press release said we would get the game in 2006!)

Thats all fine and well, but at least you could play Stranglehold straight away on your PS3, rather than wait 2-3 weeks for a refurbished 360 to be delivered - so either way, you still are waiting a couple of weeks before you could play it.

Seriously, this is one of the few games I would rather wait - the PS3 version seems to be a much better buy right now - a copy of Hardboiled HD too - fantastic value.

As of this time on July 8th, Stranglehold is listed as August 20th on the 360 and PS3, and August 21st on the PC.
