If the framerate problems are really glaring, they'll delay the game to fix it...Again.

If it's just in a certain spot, they'll let it go. Tons of games this generation have framerate drops when too much is going on... Minus Resistance which is one of the only games this generation with above average graphics to never even stutter.

DMC = Multiple COMBOS to learn, Weapons to weild, Powers to master.
NG = Multiple COMBOS to learn, Weapons to weild, Powers to master.
GOW = Multiple COMBOS to learn, Weapons to weild, Powers to master.

Additionaly these games all had some slight PUZZLES to break up the repatition. Also some dialog helped move the story along.

LAIR has none of that. What is the combo? Fireball, scratch, active time event fireball.

It just doesn't / won't have staying power. Get mad if you want but you know I am right.

This is the stupidest thing someone has said. From what I seen It looks like a good gaming experiance, There are different types of dragons with different abilities, the sixaxis controls seem like a good experiance, and the story looks good, not to mention the graphics look awsome.

Kevincox you're an idiot and it shows keep playing your FPS not my cup of tea. I like one or 2 of them but I rather play 3rd person because I can see my charactor and how he reacts to their surroundings. That's why the only game I play on my 360 is gears of war everything else just seems more of the same with different costumes. But eveyone has different tastes and it's ok I'm not trying to change what games you like but to say Lair looks repetive when you haven't even played it, it's just being a hypocrite. stop being a fanboy and give props when they are due and lair gets props for going in a different direction.

Ignorance is bliss. If you would inform yourself before you speak you would know that the developer has said that the game will have combos that you will learn as you progress through the game. There will also be leader boards to help keep you playing.

I played the game already at a private event before ps3 was released. The graphics were great but, the framerate was iffy (which has been fixed). If you want to know anything about the game you should just ask me instead of troll around without having any knowledge of the game.

Okay, I need to jump in here. Man, unfortunately you don't know what you are talking about probably because some people above didn't really give good examples. Let me have a try:

Xwing vs Tie Fighter or ANY Star Wars flight shoot em up for that matter. Look at how many they sold. No power-ups to speak of or different weapons, yet sold crazily well and highly regarded.

Ace Combat series: again all you do is shoot and no power-ups.

and a LOT of flight sims

But for the best example:

Panzer Dragoon: That game is legendary to some people and is very highly rated, yet sort of the same formula.

The ONLY argument you could even think about bringing up is that there are different types of ships, however no has said that that is the only dragon you'll be able to ride especially since they have confirmed downloadable content which will be coming out.

Lair seems to do a lot more than these game mentioned, because there's physical combat as well (not in Ace Combat, or a lot of PC flight sims)
ground combat at anytime and it isn't on rails (like Panzer Dragoon, yet that was a amazing game)

You might as well say that Forza 2 and GT5 are crap because all you ever do is err......drive lol

This should be good, though of course I haven't played it yet to be sure.......

You compare Lair to the likes of God of War, Ninja Gaiden, etc. If you have not noticed these games are not the same. Lair is an action flight game incase you missed that nugget of info.
Also to make such strong statements about a game that has not been released, everyone is entitled to their opinion bro, but the way you stated yours was really dumb. A better way would have been to say "from what YOU have seen this far, the game doesn't seem to be your cup of tea because you aren't into flight games and you are not sure how they will go about making the game contain more variety, because from what you have seen it looks really repetitive". See, this statement is an opinion without trying to seem like you know something you really don't. I have seen your comments and you are not an industry insider so unless you can understand that you should just STFU. Good gaming bro.
