This is BullShlt, how many times are people going to post this crap. I dont know what is the Fu(K1n9 deal with this sh1t, seriously. People should understand the fact that Sony owns 20% of Square Enix, and it would be very unlikely that Sony would let this System seller tittle go multiplatform. I swear this game is the F....ng reason why I bought a PS3 besides " Killzone 2, MSG4, HOME, Little Big Planet, Lair, Heavenly Sword and Etc..." And if it goes multiplatform I will burn MS to the ground and sh1t on Sony's face.

Machety, I know you mean well but you don't have to do all that.

If this is a timed exclusive so be it. I'm interested to see how many dvd9 it would take up. I will get it for my PS3 and if it's released to the 360 then so be it. They can experience the wonderful game that is FF. Now, we know it will be a business decision. All of Japan will buy it so no worry in sales there but there may not be a lot of desire on the "FPS console" to play FF. I'm sure they'll weigh that in their decision.

If it turns out to be a flop on the 360 you'll get one guarantee, it'll never be on the 360 again. In the mean time, let's wait and see how Square plays this. I would be surprised if they put a feeler out on the 360 prior to FF's release to see if there is any attraction to their style of gaming.

The good thing is that it's coming to the PS3, and that is no rumor.

I would disagree, they both have some pretty freaking phenominal exclusives.

but @ 15

simple: when a 360 exclusive that really is an exclusive is questioned they come right out and say "no, this is exclusive to the 360" or they say it will be ported eventually or whatever. gears is a great example, they came right out and sai "not happening", same has gone for a few other games.

but when a big 3rd party like MGS4 or FFXIII is questions they give strange cryptic could be yes, could be no answers.

which in my mind, tells me it's either yes, or a great possibilty, or at the very least being heavily considered. I mean if it's definitely a ps3 exclusive, none of the other devs(ps3 or 360) seem to have a problem saying so, why won't they?(Square or Konami)

and could anyone blame them? you can love or hate the 360 all u want, but from a developer point a view looking at the install base on the 360, it would be quite hard for a developer to say no to all those $$$$.

Time will tell indeed. Wasn't it reported earlier that Square Enix isn't releasing any games for the PS3 until April of 2008? Almost a whole 18 months from launch. And it seems that every time we are months within any type of release date, games are pushed back, like MGS4 and FFXIII. Why? Because they don't want to lose money on their games due to the install base of the PS3. I understand that there are 3.5 million PS3's out there in good homes but not all 3.5 million will buy MGS4 or FFXIII. It just seems that the longer they wait for the base to grow, the more inclined they will be to release a port over to the xbox 360. After all, they are controlled by that bottom line.

Now I can't read kanji/katakana, but I sure can see "Xbox360." Again, though, take this lightly. They've said similar things before, we'll just see what becomes of it. Frankly I'm happy enough knowing that it shall be optimized on the PS3 as MGS4 is, which is not anything surprising seeing as at the moment both are exclusives.

Nothing to get all worked up about and flaming over.

please stop with your lame topic. I am a ps3 fan and even so the vulgarity with which you ask for bubbles with every comments is ridiculous. There's a reason why you have only 1 bubble.

And the reason why there's more PS3 exclusive discussion for xbox360 especially with MGS and FF is that these are the 2 games that the majority of gamers want to play. Halo might appeal to the newer console breed who haven't played PC fps or such, but really, who are we kidding? MGS and FF are the games many current gamers grew up with as genre defining games (sorry xbox fans, many of Microsoft's games were defined on the PC, not xbox, no offense). Naturally everyone will snap up every tidbit pertaining to these games. I do hope FF13 goes to Xbox360 though since it will no doubt be an engrossing story for all to enjoy... even if you guys have to go through 6 discs to play it ;)

I will say they are toying with the idea and it hinge on how well the game sales when it’s released on the PS3.
