I mean the price is good with all that butttttttttt, for people who say darn it i have to spend 60bucks to get the headset, you can also choose to download the game, which hopefully is cheaper and then get the blue tooth headset for 25-40bucks and probably save around 15-20 dollars hopefully.

Everyone's all excited about the bluetooth headset, but i don't know what you guys are thinking, but i think the big news here is the "Trailers for upcoming products" OMG, OMG, OMG! I can't wait for those amazing trialers! AHhahaha! :D

Why doesn't Sony just include the headset in each PS3 instead of packaging with a game that may or may not have wide appeal? I mean, Warhawk will do well enough...but the head set issue should just be addressed when they sell the console. I am assuming its a pretty low level headset...so why not throw it in w/ the console instead of this game?

8.2 - It would be smarter of sony to put it in this game.

Sony probably has the ieda that not everyone plays PS3 online or has a fast enough connection so putting it in something that they KNOW people will use for Online is a smarter way to go because they know it will be used instead of just waisted. Plus it sells more games and gets people online and use PSN and give more money for possuble updates or maps and stuff... In my opinion, this is a very smart move on Sony's part to add in the headset, I can tell you I am definantly buy it and the head set is a big reason why.

don't know whether or not to buy the disk version or not. This goes to anyone who was accepted into the beta, how is this game to play?is it good fun? looks like such good fun but watching videos does not give the whole story, can someone please give me the lowdown if they think this game is a worthy purchase for when it gets released?i loved battlefield 2 on the pc, this looks similar in terms of the fact its multiplayer chaos with everyone taking to the air, cars and foot....any oppinions please let me know

I think all the beta-testers accept a non-disclosure agreement everytime they sign on to play the game. I don't want to get ppl I know in trouble because I played split-screen with them, but I have to say if Battlefield was more arcade like and had cooler/better dogfighting, it would be Warhawk.

Also I will definitely purchase this because downloaded games only lets you download the game 5 times (although I doubt the ps3 would break 5 times for me to redownload it, but I also will probably at some point change the hard drive, so that would be another download)

I think they are testing the market response to download vs boxed games. Best way to test it is to throw one out and see. If the network one outsells the boxed one by 5:1, then clearly the market is ready for digitally distributed games (not necessarily for all HD content like HD video - 50GB downloads). If the boxed version outsells the download version 5:1 then clearly the market is not ready for digital distribution as some think. It will most probably determine their strategy forward. Highly anticipated title - good test for the market.

Good point. And looks like Download is the way for Warhawk. Even without a headset and other extra material, $20 downloadable version seems better. I for one will go with boxed version since I like to have the extra plus headset and holding the game box and looking at its cover can never be matched.

if a story has been posted about this, but there have been new Warhawk Beta invites sent out yesterday.

i checked my account, and there it was! the game is a lot of fun (i don't like online gaming very much, but this game has converted me. i'm still hoping they'll release a single player version as DLC at some point, though), so if you signed up for the Warhawk Beta, check the PS Store, and see if there is a download option for the Beta.

i never thought i'd be excited about an online only game.

i hate playing with nasally voiced kids who's balls haven't dropped yet, but damn if Warhawk isn't too much fun.

i'll most certainly pick it up when it drops, but i don't know if i'm going to get the PSN version, or the Blu Ray version (simply for the headset, as it's hard to turn down a useful item like that).

it seems like every week a new game is being added to my must have list.

last week, i think, was Folklore, and now this week is Warhawk. what's going to happen next week?

my wallet is going to be in trouble this fall, that's for sure.
