Why would this game need multiplayer??... not every game needs to have a multiplayer option, especially DMC. I dont want to sound like an assh0le but have you even played the other DMC games before??? It NEVER needed Multiplayer b4, it's not going to need multiplayer now and it wont ever have multiplayer in the future. I'd rather capcom focus on gameplay and enemy AI then have a useless Multiplayer option that wouldn't even fit in the game..... but if you want multiplayer, its your opinion and i guess i respect that. but still.... multiplayer in DMC??? what are you smoking!?

well i`ve play dmc 1 to 3 and will play this one too , i was a little dissapointed when the game went multi but well sony is just saving money for new and better exclusives.

Wow there cowboy hold your horses it's just my opinion. No even if MGS4 goes multi (which is really doubtful) I will still buy it regardless of the outcome but it's this game specifically that I lost interest on.

It's good that you Xbox 360 peeps experience one of the best action games around on your console for the first time but DMC4 overall isn't quite getting any high expectations for me.

It's not that I mind the 360 getting DMC4...I just don't want Capcom to compromise anything.

Regardless...this game is gonna ROCK!

Devil May Cry is a game I play for the action AND storyline. If you didn't like DMC3's storyline...you're possessed. It freakin' ROCKED!

Some of you Sony fans needs to lighten up. Theres nothing wrong with DMC, and Capcom made a logical decision. DMC is still a great series (cept for DMC2) and it's not like the PS3 wont have the game anymore, it's still on the PS3 and but it's ALSO on the x360. Leave it at that. If you like the PS3 so much then buy it on the PS3 and just enjoy the game. I'd personally get DMC4 on the PS3 since i think DMC works better with the Sony controller b/c all the other DMCs ive played was on a sony system. I still can't wait for this game and i think it's going to be a success.... the only regret i have is with the whole 2008 pushback. Capcom only did that so the devs can have the proper time to build up the X360 version since they promised same release dates (yea, capcom screwed you PS fans on that one...) but none the less, trivial things like that won't stop me from getting this.

I dont have as much intrest in this anymore, since the multiplatform news....

Im not a x hater, its just that::

With the ps3 i was expecting something beautiful, using the sixaxis, and having awesome graphics, a huge and awesome storyline, lots of weapns, bosses, unlockables and ultra cool devil triggers...

but well there came nero, with his devil arm, ok at least dantes playable!......multiplatform.. .it dosent really matter, .....PS3 and 360 version the same....that pissed me off.....no sixaxis support and a possiblity of no vergil......this game is nearly dead to me....

well. IMO i think everything on your list is going to be in the game expect for sixaxis support. (that would be nice especially with the whole devil arm grabbing going on). But the story is usually mediocre, graphics are never the best (still good though), the devil trigger hasn't been ruled out, some cool skills will probably be in the game... and virgil... maybe Nero is virgil but just with amnesia..I would like to play as him as he was in DMC3:SE though. DMC3:SE was my favorite DMC game just b/c you can use virgil and that Yamato sword of his.

If Dante is playable in some parts and Nero wont get new weapons, the already weak progression feel of DMC and few RPG elements will be gone.

The reason that both versions look the same is because the Xbox 360 and ps3 are pretty much equal in power. Anything the ps3 can do the xbox 360 can too (with achievements).
