Valve Confirms Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Team Fortress 2 & Portal Launch Dates

Last night, Valve representatives confirmed to Shacknews that the studio's upcoming trio of Source-powered games will ship for all announced platforms on October 9, 2007. The suite, sold at retail and through Valve's Steam download service, will consist of the shooter sequel Half-Life 2: Episode Two, the team-based multiplayer game Team Fortress 2, and the action/puzzle game Portal. Valve is handling development of the games on PC and Xbox 360, with EA UK's Chertsey, Surrey office bringing the titles to PlayStation 3.

Okay, but this story is only about those 3 games mentioned. No where does it say in the story anything about HL2, the original. Im not sure if it even is coming out or not on PS3, but it has nothing to do with this story as of right now. So no more reports Please.

There is just going to be to many good games coming out i dont know how the hell i will time for them all! Halo 3, half life 2 ep2, crysis, gta 4, mass effect, heavenly sword, bioshock and the list just keeps going. This is a good year for gamers.

I was looking forward to TF2 as well because i was a super hardcore player of TFC. But valve took away bunny hoping and regular grenades throughout the entire game. No more priming or anything. Plus i think there is air control now, but don't quote me on that one. Big disappointment for me. Oh well, Hopefully Fortress Forever comes out soon.

P.S. I'm not sure about the pc, i think the admins can change respawn time to nothing, but the console version might have respawn times as well.
